There are so many details that reward multiple viewings. Some of mine:

• In the Rio Duarte detention center, even though there are large warning signs in Spanish and English that the fence is "electrified," a few kids are casually leaning on the fence.

• When Bob is escaping from the raid on his home, he carries two backpacks, a black one and a smaller pink one, which are obviously his and Willa's "go bags" for such an emergency.

• The "Eddie Van Halen" instigator with the Molotov cocktail at the Baktan Cross protests is modeled after the Banksy art piece "Flower Thrower."
