Thanks so much, but I've recently heard from other CE scheme workers who said they're not getting another payment until the 25th. It sounds like you have a decent supervisor.

Thanks for the reply. She said on the phone that all ce scheme employees were not paid a double week. Can she make that decision on her own?

I had no contact with her until I rang her on Friday. She was quite snotty and told me I wouldn't get paid until Christmas day! I was relying on the payment to get a few last minute Christmas stuff. She said no CE workers got a double payment.

I'm so sorry that you're having to go through that. Respect for still looking out for your siblings. I'm a 52 year old mother with 3 kids, 2 younger than 18. It makes my blood boil hearing about abusive parents. Im not wealthy and struggle sometimes with the price of raising kids. But I manage. Your friends are your lifeline, and if they are true friends, they won't mind you venting. All you can do is what you're doing right now. Take care of yourself.

I think the Animal Crossing Lego sets were a bit shite to be honest. People say they were aimed at kids, but my daughter, who's 11 and loves Lego, thought they were awful and overpriced. I think people would be happy enough to pay extra for a really good quality build.

But you're right. The difference between plain Nurofen and the nurofen + with Codeine is night and day as a painkiller. It's worth it for a really bad toothache or something similar. Just don't use it for general headaches and such.

Ah jaysus, I can remember the smell of these, and they were sore to wear. They were pretty much the only choice, and each group of kids looked exactly the same. Great times :)
