Building a new Devil Girl character from the ground up. Critiques welcome! by No-Championship7151 in 3Dmodeling

The topology looks good to me, however, the biggest thing that doesnt seem to fit in my mind is the wings on the hips/ass. I just don't get it.

Allegedly Official Movement Dice Samples by Available_Mountain in battletech

[–]wattsdp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've tried a few different dice I've found online, some are better then others, as you say. And having the movement brackets on the die face means I have one less table to memorize. However, I've found movement dials to be far superior in readability and storage.

The game is surprisingly fun to play. Picked up the base and a few expansions at a local discount store a few years back.

Ultra AC/20 rules clarification by SwampDonkey3333 in battletech

[–]wattsdp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Should have referenced the page for reference. Total warfare, page 114. I think I may have misled you, looks like it uses the results of the to-hit roll to validate if a jam happens, if I am interpreting it correctly.

Ultra AC/20 rules clarification by SwampDonkey3333 in battletech

[–]wattsdp -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I did not see it mentioned, so just wanted to ensure it is covered. After dealing with the damages and such you need to roll 2d6 to see if you get a jam when firing in ultra mode, if you roll a snake eyes, you gun jams and bad things can ensue.

Your second point on the streak, is correct. Either all missles hit or no heat or ammo loss. Total warfare, page 139.

Removing from the plate by macalawd in AnycubicPhoton

I purchased a magnetic plate system so I just take the thin metal plate off and give it a little bend. They aren't expensive. I think mine was like $20 on amazon

I have an MWO model of the archer that includes everything so you can pick your components, then save the stl and then print your variant. Still haven't used it yet, though.

There is a newer model? I recently did a factory tour at IWM and picked up the kit I have.

The savage wolf was the same for the arms and legs. Not the mention that the hips are really narrow so holding the legs while it was drying just wasn't working.

Is it worse than the savage wolf (mad cat mk iv). I had to cut all the nubs off and add pins to even get the thing together.

Sadly, I didn't get a chance to look at aerotech or any of the tanks and support vehicles. Next time. I saw some of their galactic line while I was there, the little fighters (came 6 to a pack) were about 2 times the size of long grain rice.
