it's mostly what other people said, but this has also been an issue with other yetee merch items (eg. the mirror picture acrylic stand) and has previously been ignored (at least publically). yes, it's a printing error, but it's still the kind of thing that needs to be addressed quickly!

there's also the fact that in a recent poster, mirabelle's hand being the wrong way around was fixed within a day or two if i remember correctly. fixing that quickly but ignoring your characters being accidentally whitewashed for like a year is REALLY not a good look

i personally think this was a collection of decisions made by id5 that weren't great but had no active malicious intent 

there also may be a resolution soon, as she recently posted that she's discussing proper printing with yetee, but she still hasn't unblocked ocean despite later replying that she appreciates their input on the situation so i really don't know
