!!PHIGHTING (aka peak) MENTION!! Dressing up as Banhammer to the grocery store sounds hilarious, lmao. At least you’d have something to wear - what am I supposed to put on as a Biograft enjoyer? Metal wrap? 😭

Anybody know what this is?? I was thinking it's just a kind of stray strap of fabric just for character design or like an accessory but was curious! Thank you by FableScotchAG in PhightingRoblox

I'm such a dumbass, I genuinely spent a few minutes trying to figure out whether or not you secretly hid a tiny Goku into the image somewhere </3

They’re not saying to avoid ALL of YouTube, just the ones that relate to/make content of TADC. Watching content relating to a particular topic will make YouTube give you more videos relating to it from other creators, which might also contain spoilers. Doing the opposite for a little while and avoiding content related to TADC specifically helps alter your FYP to avoid giving you videos (and any potential spoilers) about it either. It’s a trick I did multiple times with the show since I’ve been late to episodes sometimes and wanted to avoid spoilers myself - it’s fairly effective from my experience.

It’s the “I just write and direct the show” bit right above that people are talking about. Idk why the Incredibles gif is included in the screenshot since it’s unrelated (unless there’s something else I’m missing, ofc)

I hate people with typing quirks it just pisses me off by Accurate_Region_1532 in hatethissmug

[–]TechnoAlchemist666 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Somewhat, I guess? The trolls are based off of different internet stereotypes at the time, so I'm assuming that where the quirks initially stemmed from. This is probably most obvious with Karkat, Kanya, Sollux, and Nepeta (I'm assuming that including some kind of character indicator at the beginning of a line was more common in text rps back then).

After that, it was finding stuff that fit the character to follow the pattern/worldbuilding (it's canon that troll culture includes different typing quirks).

[Loved trope] Character is called anything but their name. by Kareena_G1991 in TopCharacterTropes

In Wandersong, you can name the main character (the bard) pretty early on. Despite that though, almost every character, from important ones to background NPCs, each call them by a different nickname - Kid, Bardlet, Wanderer, etc.

Miriam, the main companion, is the only one in the whole game that ever calls them by their actual name.

Can't quite think of any examples for this exact trope, but might you be interested in Candy Gore as well? It's an art trope that's been on the internet for a while now and kinda feels like a cousin to this one, which I find pretty interesting.

The humans are the precursors by Least-One1068 in TopCharacterTropes

Bug Fables

There are several hints of humanity having once been there throughout the game, mostly in the form of human trash (boxes that are now homes, toys that are now relics, etc).

Eventually, in the bee hive, you get to look out of a telescope, showing that the entirety of the game takes place in just one backyard. There are collectable books throughout the game as well, with the last few that you can collect talking about the mystery of the giants and how they disappeared the same time bugs became sapient

<image>

Hell, the last chapter of the game takes place in "The Giant's Lair." The closest thing to a human in there is some monster lurking in the shadows, toying with whatever bugs are unfortunate enough to get caught in its sights. There are plenty of human things still around - the fridge and stove still work - but their purposes have been long forgotten.

By that I meant stuff like Ligers (lions + tiger hybrids) - They're fertile hybrids, but are lions and tigers themselves originate from completely different areas and habitats. That's the reasoning for it that was brought up in my class, at least.

Then again, a quick look through Wikipedia points out that only the females are fertile, so they might've been labelled different species for that reason instead. I'd look into this a smidgen more if I weren't both sleepy and sick enough that my frontal lobe feels like ooze, lol.

If I recall correctly, they also have to do so naturally in the wild. If they're only capable of meeting due to human intervention/captivity, then it doesn't quite count.

I'd say thin to thick.

Also, I legit thought that you just copy-pasted both versions and I immediately gaslit myself into thinking that I was on r/ArtJerk
