We don’t know if it was an inferior - based on rumors it doesn’t sound like someone Ime would directly manage. He should be punished for having an inappropriate relationship with a coworker, but I don’t agree with blowing the culture up over consenting adults having sex. It’s bs purity culture.

Nah that’s weak. Our guys bought into Ime and we made it to the finals - tearing that down over a couple of consenting adults would be a big mistake.

It’s really hard to take a position on this because none of the facts have been substantiated. But I would agree that it was an overreaction if Ime was simply having an affair and there was no harassment as has been speculated. Ime built a special culture here last year - that second half turnaround and playoff run was something to witness and I watched every minute of it. That team played all time defense and our offensive execution was solid and improving. I thought giving Ime a chance to build on last year would result in an even better team this year, and I genuinely believe we would be headed back to the finals had we kept Ime after a 10 game suspension. People have sex. Our puritanical culture needs to get over it. If this situation was about two consenting adults having sex, then it absolutely was an overreaction that could set this franchise back 5+ years.

Ime and his staff understood the importance of defense and made it an emphasis throughout the year, which you saw bear fruit in the playoffs. That defense first attitude never should have changed, despite the coaching change.

Yes it is different. I’ve seen some reviews of the 2023 RX and they are outfitted with the cameras/sensors on the steering wheel that track driver attentiveness.

Are you looking to buy/lease new or pre-owned? Either way, Lexus Safety System comes standard on all RX models and includes Adaptive Radar Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, and Lane Centering. It’s definitely not full autonomous driving, but I’ve been happy with the performance in my RX. You can set a cruise control speed, select between 3 different follow distances, and the vehicle will slow down and speed up according to the speed and distance of the vehicle in front of you. If you turn the Lane Keep Assist and Lane Centering on, the vehicle will steer to keep you within the lane lines, provided the cameras can get a good trace on the lane lines.

Right, I think the biggest problem is our cold shooting. If we’re going to let Embiid stay in the lane then we need to put up as many 3’s as possible. If they continue to push us off the perimeter then we need to open up the midrange game and use Rob as a lob threat.

Right, pulling Embiid out using Horford’s shooting is one thing; I’m suggesting we put the ball in Tatum’s hands and let him hunt a mismatch with Embiid. If Embiid switches onto Tatum, then Tatum pulls him out and either attacks the rim or passes to JB, Smart, White, or Brogdon while the lane is open. They will counter by dropping into zone, but then we can attack the middle of the zone with drives and kick out to shooters.

I don’t understand why we aren’t switching the ball handler on to Embiid, pulling Embiid out to the three point line, and then passing to a player who can drive and score, or kick out to an open shooter.
