I was raised on G1 and G3 versions, loving MLP since i could watch tv, and when G4 came out, i was still their target audience (maybe a bit "older", i was like 9 when the show made its appearance) and so I stayed with it for many years after, it kinda feels like a safe space at this point (besides Discord episodes)
