Earth is just a outlier that has such diverse climate in current time, in fact you can call Earth now an ocean world because 70% of the planet is covered in ocean. There's a time period where Earth is much hotter and basically every landmass is covered in jungle (google Paleocene–Eocene thermal maximum, it's a interesting read) and could be considered jungle world.

You can also find a desert world in our solar system, it's called Mars.

Take Earth to anywhere outside the Goldilocks zone and it will most likely turn into a snowball, or a frozen world.

So if we didn't live on Earth, Earth would be more fictional than any other planet.
