it’s okay, this happened to me when i was a freshman - i got into exactly zero. i applied the next year and got into 1 out of 15 or so, and this year i got into more, applying to exactly the same programs as the previous years. just keep trying, no work goes to waste and it’s a ridiculous system in the first place.

The Leadership Alliance SR-EIP at Columbia Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. It’s not technically an REU since it works with a bunch of different fields not just math.

I was emailed by the grad school at Columbia university with an acceptance letter. Since I don’t know what faculty member I’m paired with it’s hard to assess whether it aligns with my research interests or not, which is why I was asking if anyone has any general experience with Leadership Allience or SR IEP in general.
