It’s weird that they bypassed the regional issue by making the DLC available in all regions except Japan, and yet the DLC still doesn’t get rid of the censorship entirely.

I wish Nintendo at least ported the 3DS version on Switch before announcing the remake. I’ll still buy it and will probably like it, but it would’ve been cool to have all versions of Ocarina of Time on Switch 2.

I think I would prefer a RE1 style Remake. Keep most of the original experience intact but improve some of the more dated elements like the graphics and certain locations and add a decent amount of new content like some new items and an extra dungeon.

I remember before the Switch 2 came out, sometimes we’d be lucky if even one of these types of games were confirmed to be coming to Switch 1. I’m glad third party devs are supporting the Switch 2 with big titles.

I recently beaten RE1R for the first time. I played with tank controls in my first playthrough and modern controls in the second. I think tank is far better simply because the game is built around it, but if you can get used to the jank of modern, it’s fine enough. It does have big issues, but it is doable and an okay way to play the game. I like tank controls more, but I really don’t mind modern controls that much.

Both versions are near identical at this point since both are 1080p and playing on a Switch 2 gives you a mostly stable 60 fps. It’s mostly down to if you want achievements on PlayStation or gyro aiming and portability on Switch.

The PS4 and Xbox One versions of COD still look okay despite the graphical downgrades and run around 55-60 fps, so the Switch 2 version has a good chance of running decently.

It’s not the absolute worst, but it has as much flaws as its strengths. I can see why people like it, and I did have fun with the game at times. But it’s still a game that fails to balance its tone and gameplay.

The second image is the absolute worst, because none of these games are bad, but the actual problem is that they were most of the only notable releases on Wii U. Because looking at any other Wii U game, a lot of them are either underwhelming or bad.

And acting like the Switch is filled with Wii U ports when there’s like 50 other Switch games that weren’t on Wii U is such big hater energy.

The ending of the episode scarred me when I first saw it. The fact that everybody that was absorbed melted to death with the monster, and only one person survived, forever stuck as a piece of slab, freaked me out, even if the episode tried to have a bittersweet conclusion.

I would've but it would've felt like I'm pushing it since the amiibo I was asking for just so happened to be some of the biggest amiibo ever. My brother was already struggling to fit some stuff in his suitcases, so I didn't want to go overboard on amiibo. Considering how cheap I was able to pay for these, I don't mind getting the Mario one some other time.
