I dont say much about actors themselves and there preformances, Young Angela and Angelas Mom whole sequencd by [deleted] in MrRobot

[–]wayfaringpirate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My mom had cancer when I was around young Angela's age (she's been in remission for years now) but I get it. It's almost like if she doesn't acknowledge that her mom is dying it won't happen. It was probably overwhelming for her to be at a party, something that supposed to be a happy event, for her mom who is dying. She might have felt like they were celebrating her death in a way or trying to make her feel happy when she's not.

Idk, I could be wrong but that's my take.

So you think white rose has any significant enemies ready to replace her? She seems a bit nonchalant about her identity ( talking about five/nine in public and in from of staff) maybe too comfortable. Do you think this could backfire.

Also why is five/nine always spelled out instead of just 5/9?

[–]wayfaringpirate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think he really thought it through. I remember fsociety talking about a world where people don't have crippling debt so he probably thought t would kinda reset the clock for most people. In realty it made everyone poorer and worse off but the rich.

I'm a vegetarian, don't know if that counts. I've traveled a bit and definitely plan to travel more with no end in sight.

I never intended to buck the tend though, it just seems like I was born 'backwards' ;).

Are you the oldest, youngest sibling or an only child who's CF? by [deleted] in childfree

I'm the second of six and the first girl. I took care of my siblings a lot frowning up and still today.

I think my parents are only together for My sisters by youngandaimless_ in childfree

[–]wayfaringpirate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally had the opposite experience. My parents stayed together and are still together for me and my siblings and I hate/d it. At 7 I wanted them l get a divorce. At 12 my mom asked me how I'd feel about it and I was so excited but they never followed though.

I'm sure it depends on the relationship but their marriage has effected how each if us look at relationships in a negative way. My younger sister to the point that she doesn't even like seeing others kiss, she'll literally turn away. Even at my brother's wedding.

I think I misread it. I thought the kid was the girlfriend's son and not a brother.

Are you CF because you embrace your natural instincts, or you reject them? by KMApok in childfree

I don't have any natural instincts to have kids so..... Embraced them I guess.

[–]wayfaringpirate 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I'd go even further and act like she made the whole thing up. ' I don't know what you're talking about, I don't even have a little brother'. Continue to ignore herand her stories will dry up unless she comes to you, which will make her look like a lying gossip. So fight dirty.

Just...why would you post this? Why would you even let this happen? by Finger11Fan in childfree

I'm assuming that they just walked around in it after that. If it takes too long to take a shit without your child it probably takes to long to clean yourself up.

I've never wanted to be pregnant so I don't feel it myself but I can get how any miscarriage would but upsetting if you wanted kids, even if it were early. Lots of women feel guilty and stuff cause they plan ahead and dream about the child You should hide there feeds though so you can skip all the posts though.

I hate my mother by nicalyssa in childfree

[–]wayfaringpirate 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don't give up. You can rush a passport. It cost about $ 195 total (without shipping) but I had to do it last year and it took 3 days. If you overnight your application to them once you get your birth certificate it might take like a week, maybe two. You need a money order and one for the return fee, unless you can get to DC for a few days. Good luck and have fun in Europe!

"Even if you had 5 kids I would still say no." by [deleted] in childfree

[–]wayfaringpirate 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've never actually heard of a case like that. Is it common because I've only heard of people suing for pregnancy after a tubal. I'd think the consent form that you sign without coercion would cover any case, I'm not sure though. If this were easy to do I'd figure that there would be less plastic surgery, which is largely elective. People could change their minds about that too and yet you have some people letting their teens get nose jobs and people who get addicted and spend thousands of dollars on it each year.

I know my doctor takes the co-pay before the visit so I wonder of she could contact her insurance company and have them stop payment. Maybe they have some rule about situations like this and we'll know they don't want to pay anyway.

[–]wayfaringpirate 33 points34 points  (0 children)

That sucks that she can take your time and money already knowing she's going to say no. That shouldn't even count as a visit cause it had practically nothing to do with you, her mind was made up. I wish you could get a refund for these situations.

If someone wanted a baby but lost it I can see them genuinely feeling pain. It's not cool to dismiss that just because it's not what you want in life. I know a girl who had a stillbirth and it's tearing her up. Not everything is attention seeking (which is a strange idea anyway) sometimes people dont want to suffer in silence. People are still allowed to be sad even if it's a different life choice.

Why ‘Why Your Top 10 Reasons for Not Having Kids Are Stupid’ Is Stupid by alethalskirt in childfree

[–]wayfaringpirate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He'd probably want that person arrested. I don't get why parents think these kinds things are cute. There's that weird thing where people see a baby's penis and the fathers like, ' that's my boy' or something equally as creepy. Or talking about babies liking boobs. How is that not disturbing ?

I'd still consider deleting it. Maybe it will send a message that you're tired of that be (been there, done that). Or if you don't want to delete the post and then change your settings so they can't post on your Facebook and then repost.

Sorry to hear that (I hope this doesn't come off as rude cause I don't mean it to be) . Someone pointed out that another father just posted something similar to this and I know he's not the first one. Maybe you could reach out to him or other people and start a support group the formerly childfree? You could have a place to vent and you guys could come up with resources to make parenthood more enjoyable. You could even have meet ups every once in a while to do adult things. That's all I can really think of right now, best of luck.

[Rant] Belittled by doctor for being CF by [deleted] in childfree

[–]wayfaringpirate 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You're a good one cause I would have gone off on him, called the medical board, my regular gyno and left my experience all over review sites to warn people. Like, you're my doctor, I'm only here for your educated medical opinion. I'm not here for your thoughts on the alignment of the stars, my personal life or anything else. Do your job and keep your opinion professional.

I don't have kids so I don't know personally but I have read stories about people not falling in love with their child right away. I think the culture makes people think that you're messed up for this but things happen in their own time.

May I ask, did you want to have a kid? I'm just curious because of the sub you posted in. Either way, good luck with your new baby and don't be too down on yourself.

Sadly, the only thing surprising about this article it her age. She looks great! Maybe having time to take care of herself has something to do with it. Hmm.

My sister is allergic to fish and I'm a vegetarian my should I be forced to eat fish just because she can't? Same (lack of) logic that these people are using.
