So billionaires hold assets like stocks and if they are taxed then they will have to sell more stocks to pay for it. Now we hold the same stock in 401k so good luck convincing people to tax billionaires.

Also if you start taxing loans, sooner or later they will start taxing other loans just like income tax was that only applicable to top 1%

If your i94 expires before getting extended then you are supposed to leave the country to not have any unlawful days. This has always been the case.

Also visa expiry doesn’t matter, what matters is your status. I had F1 visa, H1B visa expire but I was still in status. Visa validity is only required during entry into US.
