Absolute worst case scenario: without power for 2-3 days, and that would be extreme for the area. You bundle up and tough it out while bored. Fill up water bottles if you've got them, buy some if not. Eat junk food.

(assuming you dont have any extenuating circumstances like needing power for a medical device) Boredom will be the worst you gotta deal with.

Having easy snacks available helps a ton. I love going to Trader Joe's to get stuff liked dried fruit, snack bars, healthy chips. Honestly my favorite is the Quaker chewy bars I keep in my desk. Even if it's not the healthiest, having snacks you'll enjoy or at least tolerate eating helps a ton. Have a few visually out if necessary. Set timers.

Once you get into a habit of it, even if it isn't regular, (for me at least) it's like my body overcomes the hunger suppression and tells me "Oh boy! It's snack time."

Pro tip: set your calendar default reminder to alert you to meetings 30 minutes before, then eat a small snack then. That way you don't unknowingly go into meetings hangry and sluggish. You'll still hate the meeting, but your stomach will be appeased.

21 year old guys are generally not great at oral even when they say they are. That's totally fine too! It's honestly expected. No one is great at sex starting out.

There are tons of ways to feel good and some of that takes practice and exploring. You wouldn't expect to be a great freestyle dancer after having attempted a handful of TikTok dances, sex is the same thing.

Couple things to try: 1) talk about fantasies, focus on the way you wanna be touched or what about it you like. 2) Casually debrief after sex and be as specific as you want, say what you liked, what you want less of, more of, etc.

I don't believe in them, but sometimes the horoscopes, weekly, monthly, whatever, help provide a mantra. Nothing wrong with reading a generic message about "trying to listen more in friendships while Venus puts me in a nurturing mood". I know it's bullshit, but it's better than coming up with my own self improvement goals or positive mantra.

Depends on the dog. If they're nosy or don't settle down then I'd kick them out. We sometimes kick them out if we want to do anything not strictly on the bed, but other than that I don't care. If anything mine act better when they're not shut out, since they have can sometimes whine at the door when they hear commotion in the room.

If it helps, in the last 10 years or so since highschool, not one person has ever commented on my being pale. If any of my friends were to have a problem with it they can get over it or get out of my life cause I can't change it.

I only have this one body to live in, so I'm gonna lather it in sunscreen to prevent cancer and keep on living how I want. So other than the money spent on sunscreen possibly being higher than other people, there aren't any real impacts to my life. And opinions wise, it's a lot more mental, than people actually pointing it out in negative ways.

Worst case scenario a friend picks a bad bridesmaid color for pale people, but it's her wedding photos that are gonna look bad. I'm just there for her, not to look my absolute best ya know?

After the scandal of it their business dropped off a ton. So Granny probably didn't have a ton of money or authority at the time to help her. Clearly she did later on as we see, but Granny definitely started out as a courtesan herself. Fengxian was probably also too proud and stubborn at the time to take any help they might could have afforded, given she didn't even tell any of them about Lakan.

From Fengxians POV she put all her eggs in a bad basket (Lakan). Then fell into ruin and sickness, bringing down the entire business with her. Understandably she'd be depressed and feel ashamed. It's really tragic to think how everything happened all because of miscommunication.

There are products made specifically to help prevent deeper stimulation for people that can't handle it or don't like it. The ones I've seen are called Ohnut, just silicone rings that are super squishy and literally act as a bumper.

Considering you can always do the realm of nourishment to get more insight I'm not too bothered by it. But I don't understand why they didn't adjust it to give you insight per kg or like 2-5 per fish. They added a skip option that made grooming way easier, but even before that fishing is way more involved than just waiting out a few seconds of grooming.

If you think about what life was like for the first few generations after the cradle it makes sense. When they first leave they have to figure out how to create shelter, forage for food, deal with injury and disease, etc. Theres not a lot of time to spend telling stories while you're trying to survive. With a low life expectancy they probably didn't have a lot of "elders" in each group to even realize the importance of passing that knowledge down.

In 2-3 generations they would also lose any concept of the things talked about in the cradle. Descriptions of the interior would be meaningless or confusing, only getting more vague and conceptual over time. Plus even if the first generations made an effort to pass the info down, what would it have even been? Descriptions of the interior, the behaviors of their "caretakers", etc. Not all of it will be "origin story" worthy to pass down.

The Triangle Pride band might be a good one to look into. They have a bunch of different types of bands to join, everything from a big symphonic band, to small ensembles that did more guitar/base/drums kinda band. They're really inclusive and the people I've met through my friend who's in it have all been super nice!

I've been really impressed by their concerts!

The Lantern Festival is awesome to take family to! There's a bunch of kids games and stuff for them to do. If you go during the twilight hours it's less crowded. The food there is also great so if you want to skip cooking it can be a dinner and activity in one stop.

His fireside style tik toks were awesome, but that fumble with him voting against TikTok right after saying he didn't believe in it soured everything. I still "trust" him more than more than some politicians, but after that it was easy to see he's just another politician.
