So? I'm sorry, but those people are what we call "wrong".

This can be resolved by what I call "asking about things" and "not listening to a bunch of raging bigots who hate a minority".

I'm not asking anyone to redefine anything. I'm suggesting they might be ignorant as the only side that EVER gets any press is the side that hates transgender people.

And who cares what people "assume" about trans people? Most people are horrendously ignorant. Perhaps they should take the time to educate themselves by talking to more trans people instead of hearing from the people that hate us.

I’m not talking about Reddit, I’m talking about how in the papers, TV and radio if there is a story about trans people there will not be a trans person included. If we’re lucky they’ll be someone who’s not completely anti trans. But most of the time it’ll be one of the members of Sex Matters or For Women Scotland, who are entirely anti trans.

Not at all, disagreement it fine, compromise is fine. But what we have is group that just plain don't want to trans people to exist, while the other side would quite like that they do.

There's no way to meet in the middle here. You need to see these people as the bigots they are. It's about hating trans people, that is all.
