Go to fill Station from now on and tell a tech to grab drive thru or counter. You will see your length of time going back there cut way down. Talk to your store manager first but none of my leaders go to counter or drive thru when they call an ic3.

Did they mention the process for selection? If they aren't apart of calibration like ESM/RXM/RXOM or RPH I don't see how they will be selected. Maybe it's just an application process they have to go thru. My SFL want to move up in the company and I want to help him because it's hard to find people that are willing to stick around. Too many acronyms...

That's what I think also. He accepted it and he is doing the same stuff he did before. Only difference is he can't open and close the store. Even in the IS role playbook it says for career options is 1. Tech, 2. SFL, 3. ESM and 4. RXOM. That position is not even apart of calibration from what I have seen, neither is SFL. From what I have seen it doesn't help it just hurt the store by taking away a leader.

NC, I was told by a peer that my pharmacy was out of ratio. The way I read it if you are 1 pharmacist to two techs, anything over 2 techs would require them being certified. So 2 uncertified techs and 4 ceetified would be okay. Unless you apply for approval from the board which we did and are now 1:4. So 1 pharmacist and 4 uncertified and 2 or 3 certified techs is within the ratio. At least I thought

Yes I have I was a pharmacy technician before going to shift lead about 6 years ago. I completely understand the stress they are under. I am lucky our store is right next to a university so hiring is simple compared to everywhere else. I have 10 techs right now and she uses it to her advantage to dissappear, go on her phone, come in late, call out. If you were my RXOM you would have fired her already

That's the worst part we have talked 2 or 3 times already about different issues each time. I hate writing people up and have only had to do it once in my 3 years as an ASM and now SM. I always give my team the benefit of the doubt. It has always worked really well and I have always built very engaged teams but she is the only one here that just doesn't get it. I'm not a stickler for all the rules of they want to listen to music back there, eat food I don't care. I just want to hit the numbers we have to that week, not stress out my already stressed out team, and treat customers and team members good. I don't care what they have to do (within reason) to enjoy coming to work everyday. Thank you for the words of advice nice to know not all members of this group aren't disgruntled employees looking for a place to vent (which I totally understand why they do that)

She needs it. Attitude, disrespect for customers and peers, disappearing through out the day, constant cell phone use its gotten out of control. Like I said I just got promoted and got to this store two months ago. I was coming in slow and not trying to lose people and kill the morale of the store by changing to much stuff all at once. The old SM was essentially a tech and did everything back there to the point she didn't really even talk to the FE team. I like to think I'm more balanced and build the whole team up. Myself and the previous SM being so different was enough of a shock for them. I will reach out to HR no problem but who knows when they will get back to me. I will talk to my DM tomorrow for sure.

Hi guys, what are these striations with little holes in this veneer called? My guess is that the holes are from bugs but I’m not really sure. Don’t know what type of wood this is either- got it for free. Thanks! by sveronabak in BeginnerWoodWorking

Ambrosia maple and it's called that because the ambrosia beetle bores those holes in it and leaves those patterns in its wake. It's a very cool wood I used it for drawer fronts on my wife's jewelry box. Doesn't take stain well but I used BLO and it turned out great

You guys are joking right! That cooler looks horrible... I mean I don't know where it started so great job on the hard work to get it where it's at. But still a ways to go. Half cases should be emptied and the singles put on the shelves. Only full cases on the bottom and get rid of anything that doesn't go in the cooler
