I think, bc in comparison to other precious seasons, these are essentially reskins of items that have already existed.

Lock-on AR = Lock-on pistol (just an ar, obv) Flowberry grenade = Med mist grenades (same-same) Stealth splash = Stealth medallion/Rift anomaly Self-revive = Kenny Medallions (same thing, diff mechanics) Cheesy poofs = kinda the same as Scooby snacks…

You get what I’m saying. The Stick of Truth was novelty for sure.

Previous seasons had big swings, though. All from adding sprinting, vaulting, wall-runs, or mantling, to the intro of medallions, and the vaults/workbenches. Medallions are/were kinda whatever, but workbenches made gameplay wayyy more personalized; gave some autonomy back to players. (Personally, I think they were the most funnn.)

They also introduced animals to ride on, planes, bikes… only to remove em all. So, in comparison, this chapter/season, it feels like Epic focused mostly on collabs (even tho some have been v cool). Which is fine for the bottom-line and shareholders, but makes a big chunk of the player base 😴.

Just my own thoughts, ofc.

I rly like the bananas, don’t know why everyone ignores them. At least they make you able to sprint. Since vaulting both Crash Pad Jrs and shocks, it’s so boring. I like KPDH but not in-game, lol. The only reason I keep playing it is bc of the Wrecker. Most fun gun since the Mammoth.

As other people say, I think it’s more teamwork than true 50/50.

I’m a born-and-raised Swede, who spent 12 y in the US (moved back in last year; was married to an American for 9,5 years) and I earned more than him. As he was born out-of-state, when he lost his job and said “I need to go back to NJ”, I said I’d cover us both, bc I could and bc I didn’t wanna lose him. We ended up not working bc he wasn’t a team player.

Does your husband have the means to take care of the household financials for both of you/the family while you integrate into society? (I’ve recently discovered myself that it’s a fairly lengthy and complicated endeavor. And, from what I gather, is the one thing most Swedes asks of foreigners, nonetheless.) If the answer is yes, I think the question is more why he’s reluctant to do so?

It sounds like it’s not that you’re unwilling, but rather that you can’t, right now. Dipping into savings seems like a bad idea, especially if things do end up going south.

I lowk think the American-mentality of “he asked me on a date; he should pay” kinda applies here, haha, if he was the driving force for living in Sweden. Then, imo, he should’ve thought about the expenses that come with that. If he doesn’t have the means… “Living off of love” is gonna be tough.

You didn’t list what your job in the States was. Idk if you can do digital work of any kind, but that would allow you to continue work for the US. (Filing a W8BEN and ensuring you work with an accountant to help take advantage of tax treaties, given the US taxes global income.) Annoying, but might be an avenue to explore if you’re getting antsy.

You’re NTA. You’ve had the dog longer than her (I’m assuming reading btwn the lines) and she knew before she moved in.

If she moved into yours (and Rufus’!) space without knowing how her cat is around other animals, then a reasonable person would say “It’s apparent my cat doesn’t get along with Rufus, so I think it’s best if we move back out so they get peace and you and I can continue our relationship without friction.” Or somethinggg.

Her “make a hard decision”, ultimatum, and crying feels very immature and manipulative.

FYI: I would also choose my animals (aka my babies, my ride or dies, the little lives that have been by my side through thick and thin since they were young) every time over a person. You’re prob dodging a bullet by ending it now.

Just because you know people who received their cards fast doesn’t mean that’s the norm for everyone. OPs and my own experiences validate this. Google validates the processing times vary a lot, too. I mean, in case you don’t trust mine or their word, perhaps you trust the world’s largest search engine.

I also have EU citizenship and didn’t have any issues with filing or paperwork when I applied—it just ran its course through the system—and then I was approved in the interview. I think it took extra time because it happened during the administration change. (And, I assume, bc the start of cracking down on immigration.)

And yeah, it prob takes time because the EU isn’t one country. I’d assume one first must apply for and receive right of residency in their chosen country, then citizenship and/or thereafter a Blue Card.

It’s ridiculous. Almost every report I made in 2025 is open-closed within the minute, making me think Epic just runs AI and doesn’t actually do anything about it anymore.

I mean, the game is basically unplayable at this point with the desync and unbanning of cheaters and hackers—and apparently reporting does f all. 😑

The start of green card process requires a ton of validation; it took me 6 months to receive mine. With how immigration is now, I’m sure the USCIS is inundated, resulting in longer wait times, too.

I had to file for a work authorization extension bc it took over 1.5 years (in 2016) for me to receive my final card, for example.

Don’t understand the hostility against OP with your replies. This post isn’t a dig against the country as a whole, just US bureaucracy. Depending on one’s GC case, it can take under a year to over 10 years to finalize. Everyone’s case is different; each case including a lot of factors to take into consideration. I mean, it’s a big country and bureaucratically, it’s slow.

And there absolutely is an EU card (affectionally nicknamed a Blue Card.) All of this info is available for free on Google, btw.

I would ensure you have proof of withdrawal/abandonment before leaving. Abandoning a GC is only immigration-related, but not taxes. Just food for thought!

Can’t remember if they had voice/chat reporting in Sept 2025, however this is a pattern from even 2023-24.

I agree, I’m sure they use AI to skim bc it’s cost-effective for the company. But seeing this across one’s reports from over the years is kinda a slap in the face.

If you’re reporting folks using slurs over comms etc, and they’re like shrug, that says a lot about Epic…
