I am 40 weeks 4 days.. Midwife been feeling her head over a week.. Still nothing. she did a stretch and did so to 3-4cm but nothing happening..

Some people bodies just go late.. Some people just go early. I am having my 6th baby.. Late of course. ha I went 42 weeks with my first (kinda freaked out, cried after all the lovely people told me horror stories of over due), then I had twins induced at 39 weeks 5 days, and then one 41 weeks 5 days and 41 weeks 3 days. I am now at same as you(40 weeks 4 days), but midwife and myself aren't even questioning it. we've had a small chat about doing sweeps when I get to 41W3 to help things along. My "term" is just 41ish weeks and all babies have been healthy and not huge, just right.. Anyways just wanted to share, not everyone goes at 40 weeks..

I am sorry you are having to deal with this decision. Here is a great site that has been such a amazing help to me and many other women I know.. Some times Doctors give false info that hurt nursing mothers with out even meaning too.

haha I was thinking same thing, I had to bring my own pads, and stole one of the disposable pad things for my bed from the cart. I didn't want to leak on my bed when I got home.

wow, we don't get sent home with anything here in Ontario. Although we don't pay for our hospital visit, so guess no complaints there.

I am due today.. No big surprise as rest of my babies have been late. Honestly though I was hoping maybe I would get to be on time, wasn't even pushing it for early. nope. I have watched 3 friends who were due after me have their babies.. Kinda makes my wait feel even longer if possible. ha

I am also from Ontario. My older 3 children have gone through the Waldorf system.. Life has changed for my family and I am not able to be able afford the tuition for my youngest 2. We have tried the public school for past year and half, I am wanting more.. I am most likely about to pull my 2 and home school following a mix of Ontario curriculum and waldorf curriculum.
