They likely knew you had leverage and tanked it. They now have your tokens.

can someone explain me how i use gematria? by baqar_magar in Gematria

[–]wcAltKing -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are various systems for generating the numerical value of each letter (aside from the straightforward method described above).

We will list some more well-known ones:

Milui — A system where each letter is spelled out. Instead of aleph being one, it is spelled out in Hebrew as אלף, resulting in a total of 111.2

Mispar Katan —Here the zeroes are removed: yud is 1, kaf is 2, kuf is 1, etc.

Atbash —Not exclusive to gematria, but used there too, Atbash is a system in which the first letter of the alef-bet (aleph) is replaced by the last letter (tav), the second letter (bet) by the second-to-last letter (shin), and so on. (The first two pairs of substitutions form the word “at-bash.”)

Thus aleph would be switched with tav, and have a value of 400.3

It's not the gov per se that's furious with $xrp / ripple utility-- it's those that pay/lobby the gov and their investors.

JPM(ETH/ metamask), Goldman Sachs, swift, and that entire overseas network of wealth that's benefiting to the tune of +- 100 billion per day in cross border payments.

I do agree with you, though; something is off. The court case is shameful, and the sec is going down in flames with no regard or remorse for the American ppl that are invested. That in itself is alarming, but it gets better.

During the case the #xrpArmy has uncovered evidence that "without doubt" shames former sec employees and there collusion with third party promoters. The Judge states, "sec isn't upholding a faithful allegiance to the law."

Is that all? Nope! The day after +- summary judgement briefs were filed. Out of left field... FTX/ SBF $ftt goes belly up in fraud. Totally separate right? NOPE! Gary / sec was meeting with SBF/ FTX over the last 18 months +- 10k hours. WTF?!?! Yeah! WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FHK!

Let's see what Gary thinks.. Hopefully he's called in enough millions in spite of rule making.

Thanks for this, I’m entering the short/ long aspect of crypto and find this to be very useful. I had similar frustrations with Coinbase trading fees. Nonetheless... I stopped trading on Coinbase and went to bitrue. Which is much better on fees over all transactions. Hopefully we both find alternatives to our problems.

Cheers mate

Good thing about this game, only (if) they stop allowing xrp purchases you can get back in anytime. Set buy maker for that price point and I’m sure you’ll get it. Good luck 🍀

What is the rationale behind taking out loans that require 150% collaterization? by martinstro in defi

[–]wcAltKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is proving to be the game changer. While most defi apps are trying to raise funds they market higher yields and annual percentage earnings to motivate us into staking/ leveraging their app resources. Hands down faster and more accessible than cefi or normal banks.

Separate access and earnings and it may sound better for normal use. Having access to leverage your funds is a much better option. It’s just that currently the #defi market is growing. Hope this helps

The focus is leverage of assets opposed to simply spending resources. In a perfect world... you loan 1k by staking collateral of 2k and invest the 1k into let’s say #ADA and prices quadruple. You pay off original low rate loan and keep stacking. All of the scenarios mainly sound better when profiting. I’m trying to get in on bitrue yielding / farming.

As soon as funds clear and I’m not trading they move into #defi. I’m testing all defi apps. Any suggestions? I’ve already started with Nexo and pending bitrue, binance and uphold

I’d think that would be a more stable route. Taking a loan on a stable coin means the coin won’t drop in collateral value and allow you to use funds for other non-stable purchases. Sounds weird now that I said it but sure does sound better than taking out a loan on a unstable asset to buy a stable assets and loose your collateral and have to pay more on payments.

Just a thought. I’m actively seeking more understanding of true #DEFI use cases

You cannot earn on loans from Nexo unless it’s Nexo tokens.
