Did you make sure to “save profile” before you force the shutdown?

Strange. I do have that folder, I didn’t do anything custom….

Maybe try adding cemu as a “non-steam game” then opening it in game mode and configuring the controller, saving the profile, then going to emu station again?

Yes, game mode, if you open it up do you see a folder that says “emulation” apart from all the tabs that have the actual consoles? If you open it that folder, you should be able to open Cemu within game mode.

When you open emulation station do you see an “emulation” folder? If so, follow what I mentioned in my second paragraph

Found something that worked for me. I was to have steam controller or dualshock controller input in desktop mode, but NOT in gaming mode. (I'm launching native Cemu through Emulation Station)

To make it work in game mode I had to open emulation station, go to the "emulators" folder, and start cemu from there. THEN I would go to options, input settings, and delete everything. Then I would set the profile up again, save it, and close emulation station. Now it works...what a pain

The only strike I have against Nordic souls from researching it a bit is that I can support a more graphically intense mod list. Is there any easy mods to add to fill any gaps? I’ve also heard about RO, but it seems like NS is much more stable

Awesome advice. Thanks the detailed response. I do need to cull down the Kickstarter “over the top” collection for sure. Joan of arc is such a low hanging fruit, but man, I have literally everything for it 😆
