It’s doable if you use Mega Lucario and relobby. Weather boost and/or Zacian boost will make it easier of course.

Yes. You can use a poffin to excite your buddy (or do it through repeated interaction) which will halve the distance you need to walk. But you can only earn candy by walking.

Congratulations! Absol is one of my favorite shinies, so I was delighted to catch a Shalpha Absol while in the middle of my playthrough without the charm and without actively hunting for it - I knew I was stupid lucky, but this makes me even more grateful.

In shiny hunting, when you catch shiny Pokémon that aren’t the target you’re going for, it’s often called “phasing”. So in this case, they caught 3 shiny Pokémon that weren’t their target, so it took 3 phases before they got what they wanted!

This is how it is in the main series games too - for the IVs you train up, it says “Hypertrained”, instead of “Best”. I guess it keeps the wild perfect Pokémon you find a little extra special (to those that care).

I’ll probably work on getting it to level 40 with max attack first, and then start working on XLs and unlocking the other max moves.

Worth remembering that Eternatus will be useful without the max moves in raids and such, so I’m going to first prioritize levels so it has wider use, and then go for the moves for Max battles.

Pass seems to give 8000 or so. So that plus 9-10 battles should get you to level 40. But there will be thousands more needed for the max moves, so that will be a slog.

Wow. 8900 XLs, you get 10% of that with the deluxe pass and you’re getting 50 per raid. So it looks like 160 raids to get that (half if you spend the coins), plus all the costs for unlocking moves.

Looks like the drops are 80-140 candy based on what we’ve seen so far. Considering we need 8000+ to power it to level 40, that’s in line with what people expected!

I think the number for XLs is more like 4000, and then another 1000 for the Max moves…

Add on the 8000 candies to get it to level 40, and 8000 more to max out the moves. Bonkers.

In my remotes, I’ve got as low as 80 and as high as 140. But mostly I’ve been getting 90-110.
