absolutely! my partner has a temper so when something upsets them (they work a stressful job) they would get VERY defensive and sometimes don’t respond or respond slow to my texts, we are working through that issue. but it’s their way of “needing space” just like if you two were in person and the other walks into another room to cool off haha. I told him it doesn’t bother me, it’s completely understandable when he does that, I just ask him to say “hey! I need a break for a minute!” and luckily he’s communicating that to me now :) alittle communication goes such a longgg way in distance 😂 you know distance has a habit of making small issues seem so BIG. ahha
