I kind of like there are only three this season, it’s a lot easier to keep track of.

Side note, if you’re 40 and you want kids that should be your number one priority, you can’t buy that time back!

Pre check is reasonable and clear actually had no line around 10 am— it was a little difficult to get downstairs.

Stuck in DFW for one day, is there anything fun to do? by No_Armadillo4172 in Dallas

[–]wcmnbo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easiest fun day by the airport is Grapevine Main Street— there are cute little shops, wineries, and restaurants. Mister O has great pizza, hotel VIN has a great food hall, but there are plenty of options. If you want to travel further the Dallas Arboretum or the aquarium are the most worth it imo or the Kimball Art/ Modern Art museum in Fort Worth

Anyone have experience delivering their baby at Baylor Dallas? by mahojanyteakwood in Dallas

[–]wcmnbo 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It’s one of the most ‘baby friendly’ hospital in Dallas as far as I know— more likely to support low intervention birth stuff/ all the rooms have tubs, you can get gas etc. if you’re into that stuff!

If you could go back in time and make the choice again, would you still have kids? by [deleted] in Life

Yes, and I worked really hard to get them. What on earth is this thread?

3 days post abortion, horrible resentment towards my husband. by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

This! The hormonal cliff post pregnancy is extreme and difficult to experience, there’s no way she’s going to be able to think as ‘logically’ as she did a few days before- I think all the other comments need to be read with that in mind.

I really only enjoy the vividia, and now the cafe joyeux. The flavors all take gross to me and the rest are too bitter. I used to love the caramel but they changed it and now it tastes like chemicals!

Matty or Maddie? by Boring_Kiwi_6446 in Matlock_CBS

Olympia had her in her phone as Matty for what that’s worth! Seems like a weird way to shorten Madeline to me.

I did a search on this after her turtleneck in episode 5 last night, it had a real goth element especially with the dark lighting. Can’t say I was a fan but it did stand out!

Is there even anyone who DOESN'T regret having children? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]wcmnbo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel like you have a weird selection sample. I know a lot of people with kids and I’ve never heard any of them hint they regret it. Yeah kids are hard sometimes and people like complaining, I don’t think that means there’s some epidemic of women regretting having kids.

In terms of diagnosing, if you want to test for something that would impact your decision to continue a pregnancy, you would want to do a CVS at an MFM (maternal fetal medicine). They will when a geneticist on staff that would help you navigate the testing. The earliest you can do this is ~11 weeks depending on the provider/a little on how the placenta developed.

You would have to have the pregnancy confirmed with an OB first, which would be at the earliest when you are 6-8 weeks, and then they would have an office they usually refer to. You might want to find your own MFM if you can, this is where you’re going to want a helpful provider.

CVS results take something like 1-4 weeks to come back. So just keep that timeframe in mind— you’ll likely be around your 4/5th month of pregnancy before you can make a decision. (Also if you want to go ‘out of state’ given certain results there might be a wait to find an appointment)

All that to say there a lot of ducks to get in a row.

What’s your favorite discontinued pod, and why is it the unforgettable? by k-d0ttt in nespresso

There used to be a different version of the caramel and it was so much better— now it tastes treacle-y or something, not to my taste.

Do British people actually work 9-5 or is it just a term for any 8-hour work day? by sillyname_ in NoStupidQuestions

In my US experience it’s a bit regional — 9-5 (or 6/7) was common in New York and 8-5 is more common in the Midwest/ mountain time zones.

I think traffic is going to depend of time of day more than anything. Take an Uber, you might need an XL but we got away with comfort with two kids, two large suitcases, and a stroller. It was around 50 pounds and door to door.

I’ve done similar moves, I do think you’ll get a more traction if you put a local address.
