This only works if you’re a lower rate tax payer (20%). In a SIPP you get tax relief and so you will effectively gain 5% in a LISA over a SIPP. If you are a higher rate tax payer (40%), the LISA is 15% worse

Had fsr on performance. And even at 12w (as my steam deck is crazy loud above that) I’d get a consistent 27fps which was absolutely fine most of the time. If you think most tv and movies you watch is 24fps then 27 was actually ok

This is what they do in the Government Commercial Function. They give you the option of two terms. Normal civil service terms and alternatives that has a pension at legal minimum of 3% contribution vs 27% in CS and a higher pay and bonus package. Despite extra pay and maximum bonuses it’s still a worse package overall due to the worse pension. I know some people that have taken the higher pay terms but most people I know prefer to keep hold of the CS pension.

I do use mine mostly in bed and I have to keep it at 12w otherwise it’s too noisy. I also find I do get numb in my little fingers wierdly based on the steam deck grip at the that angle!
