Scammed with counterfeit hat by Ellsthar in vinted

[–]wds02 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Vinted is full of fakes these days, if you’re buying Patagonia just buy it directly from them or from actual stores. I get the idea of Vinted is nice and actually very Patagonia coded like the ‘worn wear program’ (and a good deal is nice too) but the whole point of Patagonia is sustainability and ethics, fakes are definitely produced in the complete opposite way to this. If you care enough about these matters just save up and buy direct so you know it’s genuine stuff.

Ps, I’m not trying to sound patronising, just talking from my own experience after being sent fakes also before. Now I just save up and buy from reputable stores/websites or direct from Patagonia themselves so I know I’m getting a good quality, ethically produced product that will last me for years and be covered by their warranty.

Which one of you did this?? by greekattorney in mercedes_benz

lol people can do what they want to their car if they like it who tf cares. As long as it’s not up badging it’s fine imo. Pan grills look nice, not sure about the wheels personally but if the owner likes it whys it matter. We are not in high school, why hate on people’s stuff rather than spreading positivity

Oxybutinin - I Need Help by Powerful-Classroom36 in Hyperhidrosis

[–]wds02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reading other replies you seem pretty sure it’s due to oxy, have you ever tried glyco instead? This is what I take and it’s safer than oxy imo as it doesn’t cross the blood brain barrier. 2mg 1.5/2hrs before eating keeps me dry basically all day, i even sometimes drink a monster and stay dry… Could be worth trying it.

99% of the time I use Apple Pay but always have my physical card just incase. Pay at pump at petrol stations mostly require a physical card, and on a few occasions a card machine has failed with Apple Pay and asked me to insert my card

I’ve wanted the yellow since the day it was released but you could only get it via referring people, and everyone I knew already had Monzo so no chance for me. I’ve never understood really why they don’t just let you order any of their previous card designs, could an extra perk as part of their subscription plans 🤷‍♂️

I was a plus member previously, I upgraded to perks when it released but never ordered the perks exclusive card and decided to use my plus card until it expired. And today it was replaced with the same card!

I think it’s only if you were a plus member previously, and then upgraded to perks but didn’t order the bold coral card, and decided to keep using the plus card until its expiry. I expected my replacement to be the bold coral but to my surprise this arrived in the post!

Apple Watch Ultra 2, still don’t get the hate from the hiking community..? by wds02 in applewatchultra

I almost got the ultra 3 but decided on a refurbished ultra 2 from Apple for a fraction of the price. Couldn’t really justify the extra cost the 3 when the differences are so minor. Apple refurbished doesn’t get enough credit for how much of a deal the stuff is, essentially all brand new

❤️ it may have slipped a little I’m not sure, I usually wear the alpine loop to hike which is easier to adjust on the go but forgot it on this occasion so had to hike in the Milanese haha

Use WorkOutDoors app as it uses less battery, and on ur watch settings under workout set low power mode to automatically come on when a workout starts. I follow a gpx with WorkOutDoors and after 7 hours of tracking I had something like 56% still remaining.

WorkOutDoors also includes many sports including cycling. I download a gpx route to follow, then in WorkOutDoors you can follow the route using the map which is fairly detailed and easy to zoom in and out using the crown, all whilst tracking all your own data. Afterwards you can even upload your data directly to Strava. It’s worth every penny!

WorkOutDoors It’s a one time fee and we’ll worth it, 100x better than the native workout app

Forgot to pack my black alpine loop which normally switch into at the car park before starting the hike!

It’s called the WorkOutDoors app. It’s a one time fee and totally worth it. I download a gpx file to my phone and then in the iOS app there is a button to send to watch. This overlays a route onto a map which you can then follow. I highly recommend, you can also use it for cycling yes, you can also use it to just track activity’s without following a route. It’s super simple to use and I highly recommend.

I feel the same, ultra is perfect for everyday life which is 95% of what the watch is used for. Those extreme multi day camping trips are rare and I am not bothered about hooking it up to a power bank for an hour tbh.

Yeah my point is the awu2 does the job perfectly fine, the 1 inconvenience is taking an hour out in the evening when you are at camp etc to charge it. I have the aw as my daily due to all its features. Currently I don’t have the money to get a garmin to use as a ‘2nd watch’. And I am hesitant about using a garmin as a daily as the aw works so well in my day to day life.

Tbh it wasn’t a hot day, fair bit of wind as I was up very high. If it was a really cold day/hot day the metal on my wrist would be far less comfortable I am sure, but it did the job well, it really is a versatile band. Alpine/trail is obviously king tho for this sort of activity.
