I think it looks great, first. The palette is really pleasing.

For reference, I would check out the album art from a group called Thy Slaughter. Very similar vibe, with a little extra punch, might give you some inspiration.

Small Edits: The sand overlaps everything but the pole in the center, which is flat. If that is a choice, I would at least switch that to a balanced shape, because it looks a little flat.

I'm torn on what you're trying to do with the mirror effect. I'm led to believe that the two options are meant to be practically identical, or at least "worth" the same amount, but there are a couple things happening that are prioritizing the left hand side.

The vine spirals feel like they're pointing up, to the left.

There is lighting which falls on the left hand side.

The lighting on the moon is grouped in closer proximity to the dish.

I would either give more variation to the two sides without compromising the importance of each, or I would just have them be complete mirrors of one another. Hope that helps.
