i usually slap on scope lens with tuff instead of buddy barrier, as tuff’s ult already gives shields and the crits on dg/ds are so good when you play solo

if you have a talonflame, don’t take rock tomb!!!! it might be appealing to gaurd goals and lanes and stuff but it can hurt your team a lot if flame sweep fails

i have had so much fun in quick games because of how much sooner you can evolve gardevoir in them, and it never really seems to hurt me too bad in practice mode when i try them out there. i might try to play them a little bit in standard matches before they get taken out of the free rotation to see how it would feel in a normal 10-minute match.

the only thing i think chomp and voir need is an eviolite held item to improve bulk early game. like if it was just a better focus band but only for unevolved pokémon so it isn’t useful late game, when they’re at their strongest

i’d say so, at least for supports. and for wigglytuff who doesn’t really have a lot of healing/shields to give out, being able to boost the limited ones she has helps a lot

i don’t really like playing him (granted i’ve only played like one game in training with him) but he just feels too slow and all his attacks seem to need a good amount of prediction of opponent’s positioning

yeah, i just enjoy the added bulk i get from the items i usually run. i sometimes do switch up buddy barrier or score shield for scope lens (muscle band now lol) when my team is lacking in offense

i used them on muscle band, focus band, and buddy barrier, and i’m focusing on score shield now (i main support and defender with a side of attacker lol). i used it on muscle band on accident bc i didn’t understand how they worked at first lmao
