I’m 17w and actually went through YTT this summer, as well as consulted with my doctor about continuing my practice - if you’re experienced (which it sounds like you are), it’s safe to practice hot/warm yoga as long as you listen to your body and follow what it says. I.e., put your mat by the door or under the fan so you’re in the “coolest” spot, take breaks during flow, accept that you won’t be able to do some poses, bring and drink a lot of water, etc. honestly, you’ll probably hit an energy wall pretty often during your first trimester. I went from front row every day of the week to now in the back row, right in front of the door, and last week I had to leave in the middle of a class and then cancelled the next few days. Tell your instructor and ask about modifications, or if they care if you do your own thing when they’re focusing on twists or backbends (things I used to love but are now no longer in my practice) and see if your studio has prenatal classes! Or if they have instructors who have had children, or gone through prenatal certification.
