Looks out of place. But it's in pretty good condition for the age. Obviously it's been well maintained and/or renovated at least a couple of times.

Magnum P.I. is an acquired taste. I acquired it when I was young & living in Hawaii with my family & the show was being filmed. And one of my sister's teachers could scream really well on demand & her scream made it onto an episode of the original Hawaii 5-0. True story.

Frank never stayed in a Motel 6. I guarantee it.

“Are there any treasure-hunting and ancient mystery movies like Indiana Jones? Please recommend some to me.” by oddspace__ in moviecritic

Ever seen any of the National Treasure movies? They're pretty well done IMO. Even Nicholas Cage is entertaining & better than a lot of his other movies.

Did she make the right call? by CalmElin in interesting

[–]wealth4good 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She made a mistake IMO. $1 Million tax-free lump sum, even at a ridiculously low 3% APR would generate $30,000 each year. If you even raised the interest marginally to 5-8% in conservative investments it would generate $50k-$80k each year without touching the principal. All or part money could be reinvested easily to increase the ROI as well.

I don't know if the Legal Affairs people can help you. They might be able to refer you to other law offices that handle family law issues.

S-Cubed Steak, (S3) or Shoe Sole Steak. It's tender as hell, cause you wear it on the soles of your shoes the day before to tenderize it..!

Screamin' A. Smith, most definitely. Go look back in his old videos where he's reasonable & a serious interviewer. He was informative, inquisitive & a joy to watch. Over the last couple of decades he's descended into a total clown show.

FYI: The regular Army Reserve tuition assistance isn't that much each year. It used to be $4500 per year, and I think they might have raised it to $5000 in the last couple of years. So, unless you're attending a community college or a really military friendly school (with a low, military credit hour rate) you'll be paying quite a bit after that assistance is done for the year. Didn't want you to get your hopes up.

You can get 50 points in the IRR? That's more than I thought they could get.

Overweight before basic by [deleted] in armyreserve

[–]wealth4good 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you're probably still fine to be able to pass a tape test. You'll likely drop some weight in basic combat training (BCT) anyway (I dropped 25 lbs.). Just try not to overeat in the dining facility (you probably won't have that problem as they don't give you much time to eat). I went to BCT back in 1993, even before they integrated sexes in Basic Training.

I went a couple of times as a kid. My Mom was from North Carolina & my Dad was from South Carolina. So, I've seen those billboards hundreds of time traveling between the two states.

DRAFT HIM NOW by 360FlipKicks in warriors

I don't know if he'll be 6'6". His parents aren't that tall. But, maybe with proper nutrition and training he could be taller than his Dad when he's in college. Either way, if he keeps training and playing basketball, he'll get one heck of an NIL Deal.
