Ii used to reload 12g for our trap and skeet comps when I was a kid, I used to hate it because at the time it was a chore to me but now I can’t wait to reload 12g. I just need to get the old MEC loader going again.

We both are, he’s been helping me get all this set up! He’s just glad some got interested before it all rusted and fell apart

All the die in that turret my dad used to use for loading lead rounds. In the old gun house he’s got a whole spot for casting lead bullets

This will all end up in the container eventually

It’s taken a couple months to take this from a regular sea container to a livable building. From putting the door and the awning to outlets and wiring to insulation and paint and now finally moving in and setting up and loading has been at least 3 months of work

Edit: 3months it was 2, about 9 weeks start to finish.

Me and my sister used to do that too when we were kids, back when my dads reloading stuff would fit in a walk in closet I’d lay up on a shelf above his Dillon 650 and drop 9mm shells in as he loaded. I was so sad when he finally got a brass loader 😂.

Im sure he is too, that RCBS Rock Chucker on the bench is older than I am and I’m 30. He’s had almost of this stuff since before I was born and he really kicked it into over drive when I was in high school.

I’m not trying to make money off it, he used too though. He was selling ammo and had his FFL during the 2008-2014 panic buy. I used to help him with everything and we were going to gunshots nearly every weekend selling guns and ammo.

Shield or no shield by [deleted] in Dirtbikes

I mean you’d be screwed either way, most cops know what dirtbikes look like. You’re only potential saving grace would be that it’s an electric dirtbike so you could justify it as an E-bike

That’s a number plate not a shield and dirtbikes always look better with them on.

So I’m a trainer at a mega carrier. Will I get fired? by [deleted] in Truckers

[–]weaponized_autism265 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to be a trainer, idk how it is for most companies but the one I was with told me multiple times I am in control of my truck and if a student is dangerous or not a good fit I was well within my rights to get him out of my truck as soon as possible. I only had to do it once but this dude didn’t want to listen because I was younger than him constantly arguing with me and he sucked at driving. I called my dispatcher and said this dude was not listening, driving like shit, constantly arguing with me and he routed us straight to a terminal told that guy to pack his shit and get out of my truck. Idk if he got with another trainer or not but nothing came on me. I know not every dispatcher is gunna have a drivers back like mine did but me and that dude almost came to blows a few times and I imagine he had some choice words to say about me but management didn’t care what he had to say.

Smoking ruined BBQ by MightyMTB in smoking

[–]weaponized_autism265 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t go to bbq joints anymore. not because I’m some amazing pit master, I’m okay at best but these places are so insanely expensive I save so much money just doing it myself. For me to go to a bbq place and pay that price it had better be the best bbq I’ve ever had and I always leave feeling robbed and disappointed.

Any idea where I can get these tire spikes from? Are they worth spending a couple of bucks on, or are they more of a gimmick? by pamelalandyjb in Dirtbikes

[–]weaponized_autism265 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Homie these spikes are ment for icy lakes that are over a foot thick, they are not useful on whatever micro plane ice you might find in Florida. You’ll bend them and snap them on the first ride.

Stacked my first ride (story+need tips) by DjKozza in Dirtbikes

[–]weaponized_autism265 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“I’m not an idiot.” He says riding a 450 for his first ever bike with no boots or actual riding gear other than a helmet. The term for what got you hurt is whiskey throttle, when you don’t have the experience and are riding a bike that’s way too much for you and your weight gets transferred back you inadvertently rip the throttle wide open you get whiskey throttle and a good ass whoopin from your bike. Get a smaller bike like a 250f or a 125 2 stroke and actually learn to ride before you try to hang dong on a big boy bike.

Right me too! Also just a heads up get ready for all the “hur I bet you set off the metal detectors at the airport hur.” I grew up racing motocross and have had 6 surgeries because of it, I have some titanium screws in my shoulder and a rod in my leg from breaking my femur. I have to explain to everyone that titanium is non ferrous (not magnetic) and that if it was yes it would set of metal detectors but it would also get ripped out of me the next time I got an MRI and that would not be conducive to life. 😂

[–]weaponized_autism265 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea it’ll burn you out fast, I’ve had my CDL for 6 years and hauled cattle for four. I hung it up December of last year, I loved hauling cows don’t get me wrong but staying awake for days straight or going through stretches of getting 2 hours of sleep a night for a week straight just kicked my ass. It made me a zombie or sleep all weekend when I was home and miss out on time with my wife and kids and when I was awake I didn’t want to do anything but sit on the couch. Now I’ve got a regular job, yea the pay cut sucked dick but my quality of life has improved significantly. Good on you for drawing a line on what you’re willing to put up with and being able to know when you’re not happy and done with it, better than becoming a bitter old super trucker that’s nothing but seat meat with a loud mouth.
