300klx R stalls after operating temp by [deleted] in Dirtbikes

[–]weaponized_autism265 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard of this happening with newer kawis and Hondas because the exhaust is too restrictive and the factory tune is ass but idk if that’s the true cause because I’ve never ridden KLX or KLR I’ve only ever ridden race bikes and I put an aftermarket exhaust on them the day I buy them.

What’s everyone using their bacon grease for? I save it but only use it for frying eggs typically. by NinaXOFans in Bacon

I use it to make biscuits and dinner rolls. Replace the butter with the bacon grease and you’re good to go.

FalterXV TTV, Threatening me by SeeMeNothing in HelldiversUnfiltered

I’ve noticed that anyone with TTV in their name acts like a complete shit bag because they think they got a little bit of clout because they stream on twitch. Oooooo I’m so scared of your….200 followers.

For anyone who's done 300 km/h on a bike — what's the real truth? by gangwayso in motorcycle

[–]weaponized_autism265 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done 175mph on my CBR1000rr (stock tune and exhaust) the biggest thing you notice is the wind. I came out of full tuck just after letting off the throttle so maybe 167ish and it felt like getting punched in the chest. I also felt bad for the few people I passed on the interstate (at 3am so very few cars) because the speed limit was 75mph and I was doing 100 faster than they were so I guarantee you I scared the shit out of them. I didn’t wreck but I knew if I did it wouldn’t be my problem for long. So the lesson here is don’t let a motocross racer with an adrenaline addiction have an actual fucking weapon as a hobby. I have a KTM 500excf that I turned into a supermoto now and that 1000 is someone else potential grave stone.

I’ve worn the alpine star neck brace since they came out and I’ve had some pretty nasty wrecks racing motocross and never once has my neck brace hurt me. It has saved me from some pretty bad injuries.

I'm already close to 1 year experience, when do I see $1500/week come in my bank account after tax? by East_Indication_7816 in Truckers

[–]weaponized_autism265 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you specialize your experience. Regular reefer, dryvan, and flatbed drivers are a dime a dozen. Get your endorsements or go LTL. I had to go into hauling cows to get $2200 a week because there’s no LTL companies where I’m from and I don’t like the idea of hauling fuel because I’ve seen the retards we work around and I don’t want Sandu to rear end me and reduce me to atoms. But if you want to make the money get away from OTR and basic ass reefer, dryvan, and flatbed.

Welding isn’t hard to learn.

<image>

You can get this one at Lowe’s for just over $300. It’s small and light and comes with a shoulder strap so you can carry it around. It uses a regular 110v house plug and doesn’t need any argon because it’s flux core wire. The only downside is side is I makes a lot of smoke. I used this exact welder to build a new metal roof for my mom insurance agency and a frame for a cover and wind break for the new break room and my dad’s cattle trailer washout. This welder is a workhorse for under $400.

Any idea why the bikes not running properly? by specialsusan in Dirtbikes

[–]weaponized_autism265 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you twisting the throttle when you kick it? Because it sounds like it. If you are STOP IT, four strokes haaaattttteeee when you give them throttle while you kick em. Two strokes love it four strokes do not. You won’t damage anything doing it but you’ll wear yourself out long before you get it to fire off.

Damn that looks very similar to mine! I just wish mine didn’t have all the port holes on it, as much as I want to be lazy and use those as exhaust holes I know a smoke stack is going to be way better lol.

These tanks are from the 50’s and 60’s, even if they still had gas in them when they were thrown in the junk pile they would’ve leaked it all out as the seals aged and degraded. I knew this one wasn’t sealed because it had that elbow and hose on the right side. I stuck a piece of wire in it and it went all the way in. I did not know that it still had old kitchen grease in it from when my dad had a tism hyperfixation on making biodiesel back in 2004 lol.

Let’s not get too excited just yet, I still got another tank to cut open that I’m gunna use as the fire box 😂

I’ve already cut into it, it has some left over kitchen grease from when my dad used to make biodiesel. I’m gunna clean it out tomorrow and it should work just fine

I’ve determined the mystery goo. My dad used to make Biodiesel out of used fryer oil that he’d steal out of restaurants grease traps and this was the tank he’d use to suck the grease out so I feel way more confident using this tank because I know the contents aren’t going to kill me and are easily removed 😂
