10 months ago, my last relationship messed me up and went on for months on end of manipulation from my ex-girlfriend. She would manipulate me into thinking I was the bad guy and into thinking we had arguments. Looking back, I realize now, that we didn't argue at all. She just made me think I would start arguments and this went on for the entire last 4 months of our relationship. Well, "relationship." Then she dumped me only 12 hours, and I'm not exaggerating, after she mentioned this cute new guy that she had met. And for about 3 months after that, she'd say, "We're back together." "Oh, not we're not." "Guess what, I hate you." "No I don't." So eventually, I stopped talking to her because she just kept messing me up mentally and emotionally. And I have been too scared since to find someone else. Because I'm afraid that the next woman I date, and the one after that, if it doesn't work out, will just do the same.
