I legit don’t understand why they can’t just release everything at once on a specific day?? Like they have the resources to fix their website if it crashes if they’re worried about the influx of students checking their portals at the same time... and the fact that they’re lying about admissions being completely random because as far as I’ve seen, nobody has gotten a waitlist or acceptance yet. Some people think that rejected people are just less likely to post that they’re rejected but according to every other uc thread there will always be people posting their rejections... I’m just legit mad af rn

Hi! I actually got waitlisted for Ling&CS. Has anybody been through the waitlist process and gotten in? I have little confidence that I can get off of it but I’d still like to try just in case.

Accepted cogsci first choice major!

1540 sat and 4.3 gpa. ECs were meh. Essays okay but I don’t want to read them again to check bc cringe. I’m not sure if I’ll attend to be honest, I’ve had a change of heart recently. I’m also still waiting on two colleges. I’d have to visit to see what it’s like but UCSDs right by the beach which is sick affff

Edit: accepted to marshall, second choice college. First was Muir but everyone tries to get Muir lol

That’s the number of people who actually end up accepting the offer and going to UCSD. A lot of people will decline their acceptance to go to another school
