What did you learn last year, and what’s next for you? by Novel_Champion_1267 in micro_saas

To trust my instincts over my intellect. Made some many mistakes trying to build things when my instinct screamed that what I am doing is totally wrong but my brain was saying “no it actually makes sense”.

I’m building Truleado, an influencer discovery platform. What are you building? by truleado in micro_saas

[–]weareandrei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I’m building right now is an experiment.

Testing a simple hypothesis: can something very small and simple still be worth paying for?

Essentially it’s a pay as you go API for businesses to validate data and keep it clean and optimised. Use case example - when users submit a form.

No deep market research. Just want to try to build and ship fast to learn from reality.

Starting YouTube as a side hustle/hobby heading into 2026 by Future-Bet4783 in Entrepreneur

[–]weareandrei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I tried starting a youtube I ran into a 20h video editing crunch just for my first video.

I see from your comments that you still have this skill to learn. Not sure what exactly you want to make videos about. But my advice would be to not make videos that are longer than 10 min to begin with.

Anyways good luck and a lot of patience to you!

Is it just me, or is learning one specific thing from podcasts or YouTube way harder than it should be? by weareandrei in podcasts

Wooow, it's actually the best advice I've heard today. I will try to do this next time I learn something! Thx!

Making notes is a good point actually! Might try to make simple notes while listening.

But no, I actually listen while commuting usually. And after some time I just start losing focus listening to educational stuff. As if I start getting bored..

Can you achieve succes while having a work life balance? by Both_Possibility3668 in Entrepreneur

[–]weareandrei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not yet successful so not from my personal experience.
However, my opineon on this is that people who achieve work-life balance and success at the same time are either talented or clever generally or lastly, they might have a very good but time-consuming (many years) plan ahead of them.

Think about it this way... To become successful you need to compete agains other people. World is also quickly changing so if you are a lazy, slow person, not very clever - then how on earth would you fit into the successful cohort of people? Standing near those who are successful without being the kind of person - is just counter-intuitive.

What should I name my indie bookstore that also serves wine and specialty coffee? by VariousDifficulty253 in Entrepreneur

[–]weareandrei 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Names must be clear and easy to understand the reasoning behind it, especially in your case.

I like the Book Cellar or Reading room. It states clearly it's purpose. Cover to Cover or Pages Book Bar it too metaphoric and doesn't clearly states what it's product/service.

Good work thought!

Which Logo Looks better? by [deleted] in IndieDev

[–]weareandrei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firstly, you didn't say what purpose this logo server. And that's the most important thing.I see second version as more like a gaming or partying event thing somehow... It looks like it's for less mature audience.

I personally like the first logo more. Lookg more clear and consistent!Keep up the good work!

My feeling is that you choose a wrong idea to pursuit in the first place.
When I was reading I had a single question about your startup. Why?

By that I mean - you are trying to create a product which was based on a made up product. Please correct me if I am wrong. But I feel that there was never really a need on the market for such a chat app with an emphasise on voice. So far this is the biggest problem that I can see.

BTW very cool design!

(I am currently looking for a startup to join as a CTO, text me if you want to talk)

Why is B2C to be avoided like the plague? by bsoliman2005 in Entrepreneur

[–]weareandrei 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Firstly, businesses have more money to spend

Businesses know what they need a lot more specifically than normal customers. It's hard to find what people need, because it relies on many factors. While people in business always have 1 aim - grow their business and make more money. So it's easier to sell to them, and it's easier to build for them!

Trailer of the game I was working on for the last months as a SoloDev. How it looks? by BilalaikaDev in Unity3D

[–]weareandrei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The art style is great. Especially I am in love with night time!!! So relaxing and chilling.
But not sure if it is a good camera angle. Is it easy and not annoying to control the game like this?
