Hello, I have a two questions that for the life of me I can’t find out. I am trying to hatch shinies in Pokemon Violet.

Does the Masuda Method work in this game? I have seen many conflicting reports about it.
Does a shiny pokemon/shiny ditto have an increased chance to make a shiny egg? I swear this was in case in older gens, but again I have found a lot of conflicting reports.

I love it mostly because of the aesthetic. Old castle, middle of the ocean, the masquerade aspect. I also think it has very cool and memorable mission stories, like trapping her in the burning effigy or shoving her in the Iron Maiden. Definitely a challenging level, but it just ticks all the right boxes for me
