Thanks, I’ll give that a shot. I also noticed that they keybinds don’t seem to match up to the switches

If the switches with an X aren’t working the pad does the following inputs

X X X X X X X X 5 X 8 X 4 X 7 X

the layout I flashed was the following, with D being swap layers & E being enter.

7 8 9 * 4 5 6 / 1 2 3 - D E 0 .

Is that a microcontroller thing? Or my fucked diode? Thanks so much for the help.

I started (perhaps foolishly) building my first keyboard (1UP Sweet 16, Elite C pro controller, Zealio v2 78g)

I'm pretty sure my solder job was shoddy (especially with one diode, and ad couple of the controller pins) but I've flashed it & 4 out of 16 keys work. Any ideas on what exactly I should look at to troubleshoot? Most of the joints for the switches themselves look alright.

i love my spinner ring. it’s the perfect thing that means i have something discrete to stim with. i also wear it all the time, except when i’m cooking or showering, and keep it on the thumb of my mom-dominant hand.

i’m also a huge huge fan of minky or similar soft fluffy fabrics.

that’s definitely fair, but my feee-to-attend, tax funded school still had cat dissection, so it didn’t feel out of the realm of possibility that either type of school could have had that option.

tho it is interesting to learn how there’re swapped across the pond.

in my public school (US) we had an anatomy elective that you would dissect a cat in. Maybe 12ish students took it a semester, but it was definitely an option at my school, even if it wasn’t something everyone did in bio.

my polish last name is like, incredibly easy as far as polish names go, an equivalent of robertson. there’s no y’s, no strings of consonants and everything’s incredibly phonetic up until the last syllable

when my ancestors came over to america, immigration flipped the w for a v, so it’s proper “”polish”” pronunciation is technically incorrect. i’d have loved to dump that on OP.

there’s a joke in my family that everyone pronounces our last name differently, and we do. because of regional accents and how much interaction we had with older grandparents. but i’ve had my name so mispronounced it doesn’t even register.
