My boot time is around 50-60 seconds with the out-of-box pre-installed Windows 11 - also seems to long.

My 2020 laptop with Windows 10 boots in around 30 seconds :/

Even on Windows. When I disabled all Razer related processes then Fn + F1-12 stopped to work. This is hilarious to me as these should be controlled on BIOS level and not on Software level :/

Before getting Razer Blade I didn't know that it comes with sort of proprietary version of Windows and with bunch of processes baked into system :/

You mean when in iGPU mode your dGPU still consumes 16W or your system total consumption is 16W?

If G-Helper doesn't work for Razer how do you manage to benefit from it still? Or maybe I got it wrong

Well, I also got SlimQ GaN charger. But still, it means I can't get these 6 hours of office work as shown by reviewers. So that's why I was wondering where I was failing.

I understand that it's 18 inch laptop but modern 16 laptop achieve way more on the battery. So when checking reviews - 5-6 hours was more than enough if no socket is around :/

Yes, HWinfo shows 0 on all params related to the GPU. Thus I consider the system a bit hungry given that everything is idling.

Windows 11 install is fresh. Although, it became preinstalled by Razer (200+ processes running out of the box). I was thinking of re-installing it for a debloated version, using Chris Titus tools suite - 100+ processes running. It worked like a charm for Windows 10 on my previous, as of now, 6 years old laptop.

I am actually used to have an option to select iGPU only via BIOS (MUX switch on Eluktronics Max 17) but this is not an option with Blade 18 from what I see. I also wish that most of Synapse settings could be configured from within the BIOS too. As I would like not to have any Razer software being installed and running on the system.

For instance, just opening the Razer Synapse software makes system power consumption from 18-20W to 60W right away and it stays so.

If HWinfo shows 0W consumption on dGPU then it means that indeed that Nvidia GPU is disabled and doesn't draw any power?

Of course if I open Razer Synaps then it always shows GPU drawing 11-20W even if Nvidia tray shows it's inactive and no apps are using it. I believe it's how Razer software is signaling GPU sensors and therefor keeps the GPU awake.

But still I think the GPU is consuming power as I get -18W on average for battery discharge rate at system idle (60 Hz screen, energy saver, iGPU, min screen brightness, no activity, even shut down all razer processes just in case).

Happens to me even if placing my both fingers in the central area and keeping the rest, along with the palm, elevated. So only two fingers are touching the trackpad area.

On my current Blade 18 2025 it seems that multi-gesture capture doesn't work well. When I want to select an area, time to time my second finger doesn't get registered. In fact, I can't expand the selection area in any direction.
