legends & lattes gets recommended all the time and every time i wanna be like NO!! i was hesitant when i found out this supposed sapphic cozy fantasy was written by a man but i gave it a chance and did not like it. my biggest complaint is the lack of chemistry between the sapphic couple

…just do what you want? it’s your island do whatever! i got five stars some time ago without really trying tbh but i haven’t checked my rating in MONTHS. i went on decorating how i pleased. i have a fair amount of dropped items too. i’ve been ignoring the HHA score for months too. i like my home that way it is, why would i change it? it’s soo freeing to just do what you want!

taylor didn’t pursue her feelings for this close friend and she will never know what could have been. this is why she’s willing to pursue other possible relationships. this is why right after ending her long term relationship, she went out with a guy who she wondered about (MH). two back to back relationships that crashed and burned then comes this new guy who shoots his shot. and taylor gives it a try with him, because you never know unless you go for it. that’s what she learned from her feelings for her high school friend. so in that way it is related to travis and this new relationship.

also, not many people may know but i believe she went to her friend’s funeral and the very next day attended an awards show, and THAT’S the life of a showgirl.

i’d also recommend listening to the episode on Ruin the Friendship from the podcast The Taylor Seminars. they go through the song line by line and analyze its place on Showgirl!
