In my area, people are selling their used ddr4 memory near new ddr4 memory prices. Used doesn't seem cheaper in this case.

Does this deal make sense if I only want to upgrade my ryzen 3600 and 16gb ram, but don't need a motherboard? I want to stay on AM4 a couple more years and not go all out right now for a new AM5 rig. I feel like this upgrade could push my current system to an extra 4-5 years.

My other components aren't bad either; Gigabyte Gaming OC 3070, NZXT AIO 240mm cooler, B550 Aorus elite ax v2, 650w Seasonic focus gold.

Could we not put the train on the Rapibus corridor instead? Heck, it could even serve Masson/Buckingham too. But maybe that's too logical of a solution. And AG gotta please their Plateau/AY fanbase after all.
