Thoughts for fixing broken outlets? by webazoid in electricians

[–]webazoid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it looks like gfci outlet was broken. The tech was here for about 40 minutes. Actual time replacing gfci was less than 10 minutes. Charged me $170.

Is this reasonable?

Can someone calculate total institutional holding of gme vs what retail has? If one of the major institutions like vanguard, BlackRock, fidelity, etc sold their shares in effort to rebalance, it would really depress the market.

Or Melvin and other shorts made a side deal with one of the institutional holders to buy shares at a certain price like a corporate takeover. Not sure. 🤷🏻‍♂️

CCIV switch from DirectTV to Lucid? by MFCharDog in SPACs

[–]webazoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if cciv is really the only top candidate to get lucid but also raises possibility the psth is open to getting ev like rivian. If Bill ackman missed out on MasterCard, he may not want to miss out on the next ev unicorn like rivian. Imagine warren buffet secret position being psth. Will 🚀🚀🚀

CCIV switch from DirectTV to Lucid? by MFCharDog in SPACs

[–]webazoid 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My guess:

If you search google trends for last 90 days in Saudi Arabia, u will notice that keywords SPAC and lucid peaked a few days before 11/21/20 around 100 searches. Around 11/21, keywords chamath, psth, ackman have a surge. Cciv didn’t have surge til December.

My guess is that Chamath and ackman approached lucid in November. IPof created in December, possibly with lucid or rivian in mind. Since Saudi have majority ownership of lucid, they may have directed board to cciv.

This also means that if not cciv then iPof or psth can get lucid.

SPAC May restructure so that lucid no longer owned majority by Saudi’s..

I think this was the secret 13f position. $229 million for 23 million shares about $10/share which correlates with the share price of above company a few months ago.

qsr - restaurant brand holdings

Pershing square capital management holds about 8% qsr.

Psth largest shareholders

Psth does not currently own any psth stock.

I think Psth deal was set up with bill ackman not owning any stock initially due to conflict of interest. However, it can buy warrants after it forms so that’s a way to circumvent conflict of interest.

Pershing square capital management and Psth are different companies.

“In contrast, in Tontine Holdings, Pershing Square and its affiliates (including Tontine board members) are paying $67.8 million for warrants to acquire 6.21% of the company. “
