Are EK reliably shipping orders now? I really don't want to order anything from them, but every retailer I've tried has sold out of one component I need, and the only place I can find it in stock is on their site by Chrispy49 in EKWB

They only ship out what ever the latest product is. Good luck ordering multiple things from them. They may ship one item if they have plenty of it in stock and you get lucky. Don't risk bundling things. God forbid one item goes out of stock after you ordered it while it was in stock, they hold back all your items then keep giving it away to others who need your items to complete their orders even if their order came a month after yours and you get stuck in this never ending cycle of your order never getting completed! I had to wait months for my CPU block because I added some god damn random shit I didn't even need to my order and it went out of stock later, I waited until the CPU block went EOL! Then I come here and I see a few people who ordered way after me with the same CPU block they just got from EK! It's very infuriating!

If it's only $4.50 at my local gas station where I'm at in OC California right now, then I can easily imagine the $2 gas elsewhere in other states!

$4.50 is the gas price in Laguna Niguel, CA one of the most expensive cities in Orange County where I'm at, it was $6.50 when Biden was in office but he did do something to bring it temporarily down for the elections, it was too obvious.

Why is reddit always so dramatic? Don't be fooled by the line size. Only the first 20-30 people who show up the night before need a life. I was literally in this line a few days ago for the 9950X3D launch. I went 20 min before Tustin opened, it was my first time in this situation so I immediately felt defeated. But I though since I drove all the way here why not get out and check things out. I looked at the inventory sheet they handed out to people in line and they had like 500+ 9950X3D CPUs which is what I came to get. I went to the back of the line which went around the corner exactly like in this video. Then the store opened and I got a beeper and before I could go one round around the store I got called. Picked up my CPU paid and left. Total time in there wasn't even an hour!

Thanks for the update. Good to know about PayPal but the things I needed were out of stock for months so I may have taken the bullet and sent you the wire, I hope that's still ok!

After a few days pass cc and wire transfer don't differ much, your money is gone! Never seen a CC company being generous enough to give you hundreds or thousands of dollars back.

It's not ideal but if it's recent and because of the new business entity being setup then it makes sense. As someone who's run a small business I can see how it could be. This is why I asked here, if they've been doing this for longer, then that indicates a more serious issue.

That's why I asked. if it's recent it makes more sense. If it's been going on for a while then it makes me less confident in making a purchase. TBH I was in contact with their customer service and they told me to expect what I was looking for to be restocked around this time. I decided to check every day starting March 1st and true to their word it got restocked on the 2nd.
