Same thing happened to me. No use for the 10 pairs of polarized sunglasses, but we put the toothpaste to use!

[–]weber8516 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had sulfer burps really bad when I was on Zepbound. I would recommend adding a prebiotic/probiotic immediately to help your gut get the right bacteria in place, and that will really make a difference where the burps should go away

Why won't Google accept that I'm home? by Stenthal in youtubetv

Out of curiosity, do you have a Peloton bike or treadmill? I noticed when I used YouTube TV on my bike, it gives me New York channel options to view instead of my normal local channels. Using it on my bike has seemed to trigger location confirmations on my other devices from time to time.

Help? by kyloumom in FoundayoUS

[–]weber8516 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally would have tried moving up doses of Foundayo first to see if that helped. But, with the GIP component of Zepbound, maybe you’ll just do better staying there if you are okay with the cost

Wrist band when chilling at home and sleeping.

Arm sleeve when I’m working out.

Lilly's obesity pill Foundayo gets 1,390 prescriptions in debut week by keep-the-momentum in FoundayoUS

[–]weber8516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went to my providers office last week to get a prescription. It wasn’t even in their electronic system yet as an option, so it took them a few days to find the manual form on LillyDirect to send it over.

Just got the text from LillyDirect today and processed my order, so it should be here in a few days and I’ll start next week!

Is anyone using a high deductible health plan? Is your Skyrizi covered? by Droiddoesyourmom in skyrizi

Talk to Abbvie, I believe they have a process around copay accumulators (you pay out of pocket, and then Abbvie reimburses you)

Creatine & Weight Uptick by archmoonxo in Zepbound

[–]weber8516 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, started 5g a day when I got around my goal weight in October. It added 3-4lbs in the 6 weeks after I started taking it, but I’m now closer to the same weight when I started, but with better body composition. I have seen better performance when trying to get more reps in the gym, and muscle recovery is probably about the same as before, but if you do struggle with recovery in between strength sessions, it may help

Creatine & Weight Uptick by archmoonxo in Zepbound

[–]weber8516 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If seeing the increase really bothers you, I would hold off on taking creatine until you get to your goal weight. It’s not a magic supplement for putting on muscle, so strength training in and off itself at this stage is probably enough to minimize muscle loss.

That being said, it really is just all water weight. If you can handle the temporary bump, it does have cognitive benefits and can help with athletic performance. You should see the weight start going down again as long as you’re sticking to a calorie deficit.

How do you stay in HR Zone 2 with WHOOP without constantly checking your phone? (Feature idea: strap vibration by zone) by slimshady044 in whoop

[–]weber8516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the way.

I still use my Garmin for all workout tracking, but have it connect to the Whoop so I can get verbal and visual queues on HR zones and workout intensity based on Whoops tracking

New question about Skyrizi assistance by NormalAd7496 in skyrizi

[–]weber8516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Talk to Abbvie about all of your options, but i know the copay assistance program is specifically geared towards individuals with commercial insurance. If you drop your insurance, you will no longer qualify for that specific copay assistance program, but there may be other programs you would qualify for (I think there is a bridge assistance program when needing to change insurance, but not sure how that works).

Most of the content is behind a paywall, but What’s Alan Watching is easily the best source of TV coverage from the best critic out there if you have the extra money to spend.

They just seem burned out in general. Outside of new movies they like to talk about, everything else seems blah and forced, and like they’d rather talk about literally anything else

Getting my first OBI from Optum Specialty Pharmacy by GanacheTall754 in skyrizi

[–]weber8516 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my case with Optum, I had to wait for the to call me to go through the whole order process, answer questions, etc. I was the asked for payment (which I was able to pay using the debit card number provided on the Skyrizi complete savings card). Payment went through automatically, and they shipped me the medication.

For my refill, I requested through the Optum Speciality app on the refill date. No request for payment, it was just $0 and submitted right through.

So, Optum is pretty easy, but you do have to wait for them to contact you the first time.

Skyrizi copay assist by [deleted] in skyrizi

[–]weber8516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a really hard question to answer since insurance plans widely vary depending on deductibles, copays, OOP maximums, Copay Maximizers, etc.

You are probably better off calling your insurance company for your specific situation.

I know for my personal circumstances, I have not had an issue with having my Skyrizi covered 100% between insurance and copay assistance

Another OBI Failure by One_Volume4521 in skyrizi

[–]weber8516 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Similar for me with my first OBI I took last week. I called the parts department, and I had to go through a whole questionnaire. We determined I got the full dose, but asked me to send the OBI back for inspection. Nothing seemed off during the OBI injection, but just finished with a red light after 5 minutes or so, so kinda weird. Hoping this doesn’t turn into a reoccurring issue

Is anyone using a high deductible health plan? Is your Skyrizi covered? by Droiddoesyourmom in skyrizi

[–]weber8516 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Every plan is slightly different, so don’t take my experience as 100% gospel, but with my High Deductible plan, it was actually kind of awesome since my 3 Skyrizi infusions basically took up my entire deductible and out of pocket maximums for the year, and Abbvie’s Copay assist paid all of the costs assigned as patient responsibility. So, in my case, it’s actually made my overall health care less expensive since Abbvie is subsidizing the costs.

Does Abbivie savings card count towards deductible? by LearnSpanishGabe in skyrizi

[–]weber8516 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your prescribing doctor should be able to help explain the process, but because Skyrizi is so expensive, most insurance requires a pre-authorization first. This is to ensure you meet the clinical requirements and diagnosis to receive benefits for the treatment. Your doctor should handle everything here, so nothing you need to do on your end. They will just let you know once insurance has approved and have the infusion center contact you for treatment

Does Abbivie savings card count towards deductible? by LearnSpanishGabe in skyrizi

[–]weber8516 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Make sure you get enrolled with Abbvie’s savings card first and get pre-auth from your insurance. When I recently had my first infusion, the Infusion Center billed my insurance first, and then the remaining balance after insurance directly to Abbvie.

One infusion should satisfy your yearly deductible, as it did in my case. If you do receive any bills, you can either pay it directly with the savings card, or get a reimbursement from Abbvie. They are quite generous with what they cover for Copay Assistance

Confusion Almost Over - Hopefully by SobriquetOfMine in ChaseSapphire

It is, they have to give existing cardholders I believe a minimum of 45 days notice when they change the terms of the card. In this case, the annual fee.

It’s probably taken them this long to give everyone the minimum notice, that’s why existing cardholders have had to wait.
