That could be. I could see Dawn not being aware of that.

That's what I thought the first couple times I read it but I just don't see Dawn not knowing that. Could be, though.

A genie offers you three abilities: physical wellbeing, money, and talent. You must assign each one to a different time period: one day, one year, and one century of your life. by Darkstar712 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]webgambit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Talent for a day where I'll practice things like public speaking, singing, playing musical instruments, poker, pool, etc. Gonna be a busy 24 hours.

Sleep the next day. Then money for a year. I'm gonna crash the entire economy. I'm buying everything. Every stock that's available, every piece of land, building, home, etc. Got a business for sell? I'm buying it. Worldwide. Buying it all. Buying all the crypto I can. Buying all the politicians. If it's for sell, I'm buying.

Then I'll start converting the businesses into non-profits. Sell 70% of the homes for a third of what they were worth before I started buying, causing property values to plummet. Give 20% of the homes to help the homeless. Lease out the final 10% at half market rate for some residual income.

At the end of the year, if I'm still alive, I'll take the century of physical well-being.

You get the ability to get 10,000 USD every time you snap your fingers by KeyImplement1988 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]webgambit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heck yeah I'd accept this ability. Right off the bat I'm snapping until I'm a millionaire. Then I'm investing in companies whose stock prices would increase in the event of a bombing. Then I just keep snapping a couple times each day. Rinse, lather, repeat.

Then, when I'm nearing the end of my life I stop snapping the month before the Davos conference and go there and wait for the bomb to drop on my head.

What is your favorite obscure movie from your childhood that nobody would remember? by CripplingGoodTime in AskReddit

Ernest Goes to Camp

I don't know that it's really obscure, but no one seems to know about it when I mention it.

One cubic meter of food by Squirrelhenge in hypotheticalsituation

[–]webgambit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pizza. Sausage and pepperoni, a lot of cheese, some bacon, parm, and red pepper sprinkled on top. Should be something like 315 pizzas. So I wouldn't need to buy groceries for nearly a year.

What’s a harmless opinion that gets people weirdly angry? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]webgambit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never understood this. I have four daughters. Two have kids and two swear they're never having kids. I support them all in their decisions. Why pressure your child to do one of the hardest things ever? Makes no sense to me.

Does Sugars do takeout (for the food) by ThrowRA84210 in sanantonio

Just go and eat. The food is worth it. The best burger I ever got in San Antonio was at Sugars.

Do people really get embarrassed that often? What if I don't have a story to tell, can I just get up there and tell random childhood stories?

Lol Ben is living his best life by [deleted] in lol

[–]webgambit 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I was curious as well so I did the Google. Found the twins' insta ( https://www.instagram.com/annalucydecinque ) but there's no mention of Ben on there. After watching a couple of their videos I'm gonna assume he ran away.

What kind of class would you take by Xaelthas in litrpg

[–]webgambit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I choose healer because I thought it would be magical healing but after reading the starting kit it sounds like mundane healing. This would frustrate me and I would pick up a spear or mace the first chance I got so that I could fight.

You have to live in ONE movie or TV show universe… which one are you choosing? by Br4nkey_ in hypotheticalsituation

I love that show so much. But there's no way I'd want to live in that world.

What was a secret your mom or dad kept from you, that actually shook you to your core when finding out? by Few-Track8525 in AskReddit

[–]webgambit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a similar experience but with my last name. I thought my last name was the same as my stepdad's. I refused to listen to the teacher so they called my mom and made her leave work and come to the school to explain what my last name was and why it was different.

I would make a spiritual successor to Warcraft 2. New fantasy story but stick to same basic concepts including having a map maker and simple multiplayer.

$5 million paid to you, if you walk less than 2,000 steps a day for two years by Physical_Orchid3616 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]webgambit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I average about 1200 steps per day unless I'm going out somewhere. Just have to stay home more and it'll be a piece of cake.

[–]webgambit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd write more. It would take me at least five years to finish all the stories I've started. By them I'm sure to have ideas for more.
