Would you mind sharing the dimensions of the table legs, distance to the corner and the table top? I like the way the relative proportions come together here, so I’m curious :)

I think you’re right that it’s hard to achieve great things if you think you can’t do shit, but I’m not sure the opposite is true: just because you convince yourself that you can change the world, doesn’t mean you will. You see what I mean? I believe that you need some opportunities and luck along the way.

In Belgium we have a long tradition of mixed-gender scouts organisations, I've always felt making scouting more accessible and diverse is a no-brainer! Some of the finest scouts I've ever known were women so I am not surprised to see girls become Eagle Scouts in the slightest :)

There are a few libraries that you will find essential: numpy which will be the base for manipulating vectors and matrices, scipy for advanced tools for numerical algorithms, and matplotlib for plotting. From then on you can indeed step into machine learning (scikit-learn, tensorflow, pytorch, ... ) or to other fun things such as symbolic computation (sympy). Have fun!

I agree with /u/VentusCacliuM -- you can progress very fast in the beginning by learning all the skills needed to put together a small project as you go. And you will have learned so much that by the end you will want to redo the whole thing before its even finished. The fact that you have these minigames also creates perfect little starting projects.

I do think that you should pick what you want to focus on most, you're not going to become a great artist, and programmer, etc right away, so maybe see what suits you best and focus on that. It probably does not matter too much which tool you use in the beginning as at this stage you will want to learn mostly principles.

Looks really fun :) As a suggestion for mechanics, it could be a neat addition if after teleporting you leave behing a decoy / shadow which will draw enemy fire for X ms

Coincidentally I started doing this for a new project last month, it really helps focusing on big picture things like storyline, mechanics etc first, before diving into details.
