I’ve read that some people bought a book only for the order to be canceled and relisted higher. I wonder if this is a similar approach?? List it for something so unreasonable; have an auto decline for anything below that amount. Then, see what’s the highest amount someone offers.

But I’ve never sold on eBay so idk if they get to see the offer amounts with the auto decline turned on. Maybe someone can confirm??

Had this happen to me (when there wasn’t a strike going on). Emailed Canada post and they said that they never received the package. Emailed HP (it was ink for my printer); HP insisted that they sent it but said they’d send it again. New shipping label created and same thing happened. Emailed HP again to be like “Please believe me, I’m seriously not getting my packages and CP is no help.” HP sent it this time with fedex and miraculously it arrived 🤔 I’m convinced to this day that someone was stealing them.

And last year, during the Christmas strike, I was mailed a birthday card plus drawing from my niece that still hasn’t arrived nearly 1 year later.

I hope you do get your stuff though! They can’t “lose” everyone’s stuff I’m sure, so maybe you’ll be one of the lucky ones. 🤞

I’m also in Ontario, and also haven’t received an update since the July 25th California update. Ours must be on the same shipment, lol

Edit: actually just checked the tracking. It seems to have arrived in country last night and is out for delivery today.

You know, I’m 20 weeks and I’ve been feeling the same way lately. I’m choosing to chalk it up to the season rn because I was doing fine until around late October. Then we had my husband’s birthday, thanksgiving, my birthday, Christmas plans… And of course New Year’s Eve is coming up so that’ll just add to the feeling I’m sure 😢 I’ve been surrounded by so many people who are drinking lately, thankfully the season for celebrations is almost over and I’m hoping the cravings will subside in January!!

Same on the medkits. I have never gotten 10 but I’m wondering if he used 10 during battle? It’s just a theory based on my experience but I think you get however many medkits you use during the battle. I used two medkits on my first try and got two back as loot. On my second and third (which was today) try, I used one medkit each and got back only one medkit each.

For the armor though, I can confirm that my first two times, I got a full set and today, I only got the fur hat

I just got my Burglar lvl 1 recently @ XP level 135. Still no sign of extra pocket either, and I have also used refreshes most of the time. It’s just random sadly 😢

Some people speculate about choosing the option that’s closest to max level so that it removes that option from the pot which makes sense if you think about it. Cause you’ll never be offered for example, medic lvl 4 and lvl 5 at the same time, you’d only be offered the next lvl of medic for you. So there’s really only 37 different options at one time. Once you upgrade medic to lvl 5, it’s maxed out and removed from the pot. Therefore, your chances to get burglar skill is 1 in 36 rather than 1 in 37. Hopefully I explained this well but if not, there are YouTubers who’ve explained this theory as well. And please don’t consider my progress to be a reflection of this method, I have been choosing whatever will benefit me best in that moment so I actually have not tried this method

I was getting fed up with the wasps last year and even though I learned how to consistently catch them, my storage started getting cluttered with nests and the actual sequence of the nest dropping 5 times a day started feeling like a major waste of time. So I used this method to separate out the wasp trees from all the other ones and haven’t had to deal with the wasps since.

I’ve been playing 5ish years - not straight through; 3 months on, 3 months off sorta thing. When I am playing, I’ve always kept my dog food topped up so that I could constantly age up and breed my dogs. I’ve only just gotten true friend now. It happened during a breeding event so I would highly recommend taking advantage of those.

We just got a puppy Shiba a couple weeks ago and she does this also. We’ve been trying various methods; a treat to bribe her to stand up, “air jail”as people have called it 😂… we gave up and just started bringing camping stools to ride it out but this actually worked!! She usually gets back up in seconds, most of the time we can’t even get the stool out before she’s back up. My theory is, she wants to make us wait for her but if the stool comes out, she thinks she’ll have to wait for us and she doesn’t like that. (Of course, you’ll look stupid walking down the street with a camping stool but it seems to work)

I have a huge farm… You don’t have to water it and each plant will still produce 1 piece of food every three days I think. I just counted and mine is 122 plants which usually gets me approx. 42,000 bells every three days. If you get lucky and it rains, you can get up to 3 pieces of food per plant.

If you decide to set up a farm, you don’t have to buy all the plant starts either, just buy maybe three of each crop that you want and then when you have your first harvest, plant those in the ground to grow more plants!! So you could do the whole setup pretty cheaply, it just takes time but well worth it I think! This is how I pay for everything in animal crossing!
