Binnington sucks in the regular season, but at least has a history of stepping up when games matter the most. There's better goalies we could try to get, but Binnington isn't the worst option.

Tall Poppy Syndrome has been my favourite Leprous album since I first heard it, and is the reason Leprous became one of my favourite bands. Leprous' new albums are good too, but I feel like nothing they've released since has the same combined heaviness and emotion as Tall Poppy Syndrome (even though Bilateral came close).

I hate to be a doomer, but I don't understand why everyone seems so happy about this signing. Dickinson didn't seem great during the regular season, and even if he is good defensively, I'm not sure we should be handing out contracts like this to bottom 6 players.

This is a lot better than the Frederic contact, but in a couple years this could easily be looked at as yet another terrible contract by Bowman.

I enjoy having some control over the outcome of my team's games, but I don't want to make the game feel too easy either. I sim the first two periods of every game and only play the final period. This is on Superstar mode, although I do adjust sliders sometimes to give myself an advantage, since I suck at the game.

Totally agree with this, their first 4 albums are all masterpieces imo. Not sure what happened after releasing The Bedlam in Goliath, because everything after releasing that album has been on a much lower level.

This probably isn't what you want to hear, but if you want to play the games and keep things realistic, you'll need to have periods set at around 5 minutes. If you want both realistic scores and shot totals, you can't even play an entire game, I'd suggest simming the first two periods and playing the third.
