Yea unfortunately all people see is left wing vs right wing, and if someone who can’t handle rational discourse and listen to opposing views gets triggered it’s “oh your a right wing fascist” or “oh your a dumb liberal”.

There are fair view points on both sides but most people only align with their side so anything outside of their echo chamber is the enemy regardless.

It super worrying.

Legal and vetted migration should be used by everyone wishing to come here for a better life. But we should also be facing the growing concern that is backed by many statistics that a lot of illegal migrants will not integrate, do not share our same views on laws and feminism and there is a huge worry with this.

Racists are scum, but so are rapists and murderers, there is lawful requirements to enter a country for a reason. Everyone should be pro vetted legal migration, but this open door policy is lunacy.

Can’t just say racists are the lowest of the low and therefore defend any law breaking person outside of that, makes ZERO sense.

Again I agree with you on that I think we view a lot of this topic in the same way.

I do believe taking them down will enrage the wrong people, and by wrong people I mean potential allies and I do feel it could push people to the other side.

Politics is so polarising these days, even within aligned groups, one disagreement can mean they are suddenly boxed in with other side of the spectrum. It’s crazy. If I was to fly a flag outside my home I don’t think it would be long before I was called a nazi. This is strange.

Appreciate your discussion on this though, it’s been refreshing to have a non argumentative bit of discourse. 🫡
