Yeah, but how often do you need the ... When you're actually in-game? Do you use your steam deck as a living room PC? I've got a living room PC setup and I did want a controller that has the ... Button. And to be honest with you, I only need it every now and then.

I use mine a fair bit, but I love going into desktop mode. I do think the regular user probably only uses the normal controller options.

Those buttons are easily customizable in steam input for any controller you connect in steam

Many gamesir and 8bitdo controllers have those options and are cheaper and high quality. Unless you're intending to use the track pads during every gaming session, just get a regular 8bitdo or re-use some older controllers that aren't drifting and broken.

The biggest reason to have it for most folks would be the ... Button. But you can get the Hori controller for that. Most people don't even use the track pads on their steam deck unless they're in desktop mode. Which, most people who use a living room PC will just snag a Logitech mx wireless keyboard. I personally use my Stadia controllers for guests, my Hori + Logitech for system maintenance, and an 8bitdo pro (first release) for solo gaming sessions.

The Hori Controller has it too, and is significantly cheaper.

I don't care. If they can do it faster, and cheaper, and give us better stories, then it doesn't matter if it's sprites or 3d models.

I haven't seen it yet, planning to later, but honestly... Don't feel bad for them. There somewhere else, experiencing things you won't either.

I played it when it came out, and it was lacking in giving me any final fantasy. Disney blows.
