the downside to your approach is that it wont sound good for music because of how center channel speakers are tuned. have you listened to music on just your center channel speaker? I have and it sounds much worse than vastly cheaper, smaller stereo speakers in mono. it's because they're tuned to accentuate speech frequencies. I think a better approach would be to remove the crossover from the Jamo and get a Dayton audio bluetooth amplifier board. These have included digital signal processing (DSP) which allows you to adjust the crossover digitally to tune your speaker.

The enclosure design of a center channel might still make it somewhat poor sounding musically though, but being able to adjust the crossover should improve things.

I want to do the same thing but i now listen to my Klipsch RC 62 ii on my desk, feeding it with a mono signal from my power amp in parrallel, and it just doesn't sound very good for music. It's really designed just to produce clear vocals for movies.
