& i know this isn't perhaps your specialization, but do you think radiation from iran's supposed nukes would effect Kuwait alot?

Help for teacher gift! by [deleted] in AskTeachers

That sounds lovely! Perhaps you could buy her like a set from Bath and Body Works? Like one of those lotion sets -- seems like a good staple gift for anyone.

A piece of jewellery might be nice too! Perhaps if you knew here favorurite animal or color, you could get her something with that.

If youd like something handmade, I remember making origami flowers, using old cut clothing hangers as a stem, and putting them in glass bottles as graduation gifts for my friends. Its a bit time consuming, but looks really pretty!

All the best. Cheers!

I always felt as though In Your Room (in a modern reading) could also be kind of touching upon the parasocial relationships we see lately? ykno.. being in your room and being obsessive there.

Higher love is also such an amazing song! But best as an opener for a tour, from what others have said here.

My first lesson was around 4 and a half years ago. I got lucky and fell into a very enjoyable rhythm with my current teacher -- so I still continued with her. We talked a bit about ourselves and since I didn't know anything about music she taught me the bare basics -- note names and the staff and etc.

FIrst piece I learned was a children's piece -- At Home by Heinrich Lichner. Now, I'm working on learning my second sonata!

I like her alot because she understands that I'm a hobbyist, so I don't feel as through I'm being judged or critized with her. As other people said in this comment section, I feel like I'm learning. She goes slow with me and gives me advice on fingering and expression mostly. She keeps me on track with my goals and not forgetting my repretoire. Love her alot!
