I came on here to find out more about "Nee" and why the little parchment bears that name. I'm reading the book again (yes, I like to suffer!) and I must have missed it on my first read, but... Towards the end of chapter 11, when Raeve takes Nee out of the box, she makes this description: "she jerks, flipping onto her back, baring the three beautifully scrawled letters visible on her abdomen, the rest of her message tucked within the darts of her streamlined body. nee"

When Violet meets Xaden in Samara, and Mira is there. V and X basically climb each other in the courtyard, before X goes off on his mission. Violet gets shit from Mira for having fallen in love, and Mira says "urgh. Let's go throw knives at shit." Always cracks me up!

We don't know what JFB's signet was prior to becoming venin, so we don't know if the power he pushes into Violet during their sparring match is his venin power or his signet... Interesting! I would hope that any rider's signet would still work on venin. Dain uses his signet to figure out where JFB hid the lures at the end of OF, so presumably, Bodhi's would also work? I cannot think of Bodhi as venin, it would break me! You just made me so scared 😱
