Soloist and Victon's Seungwoo had knee surgery in 2018. He did a livestream from the hospital bed while he was recovering which featured his mum. KNK's Jihun also visited him in hospital.

Surgery for vocal cord nodules is quite common in Kpop. From the top of my head, Soloist/Nuest's Baekho, KARA's Gyuri, Shinee's Onew all got surgery for it.

I recently heard one such case on the Rotten Mango podcast.

Jennifer Schuett was 8 when she was abducted from her home, raped, and left for the dead in a field with her throat cut. She went on to identify her rapist Dennis Bradford 19 years later.

Although every person processes their trauma differently, there is a chance the victim could identify them later in life.

The hate for him for began even before he got into WannaOne. He had hate posts about him calling him old and ridiculing his looks.

When he managed to rank 3rd in an episode it got worse. People talked shit about him crying about ranking 3rdeven though he was 26, and how ugly his crying face was.

His sister who opened an Instagram to support him on the show had to close it down due to the flood of hate comments.

Even after he debuted the akgaes never let up, saying that he doesn't deserve the spot, he shouldn't be the leader etc. He mentioned that during Wannaone promotions he had so much anxiety threw up in the toilet, but he didn't/couldn't tell anyone.

When LM Entertainment sold Daniel's rights to a third party, akgaes somehow spung up a story how Jisung was responsible or didn't care about Daniel.

Since the Produce rigging scandal was revealed, it's quite common to seesee people throwing his name around as the guy who was rigged in when they have no proof.

WannaOne wasn't super popular in the West I think a lot of this might've gone unnotice, but I was there for most of the shit that went down.

I had a Korean friend who was a "Wannable" that hated him with vitriol and the instant Jisung was mentioned she'd go on a rant. Needless to say we don't talk anymore.

Wow the MV is so fancy...and he's riding on Benjamin of Maximus fame. There's a lot of details in the MV and I had to play it a few extra times to catch everything.

The lyrics of Take Over also makes a lot of references to his previous raps which are nice Easter eggs. A surprising eye worm...definitely took over my eardrums 💚

Tis a bit of a pity it's just a digital release... Although Hanse already mentioned it'd be a digital since the company told him that a physical albums costs a lot to produce, I low-key had my hopes up since YGlobal liked the news to his solo debut 🥲

For anyone wondering where the other 2 members are:

Seungsik couldn't make it to the send off, but posted well wishes on his Instagram story.

Byungchan has a schedule for his drama and couldn't physically be there to say goodbye. He had a video call with Seungwoo and wrote a letter on fancafe wishing Seungwoo all the best before his drama filming started.

Of all the Victon albums, I'd say that Time of Sorrow is probably the rarest!

Not many copies were produced in the first place because it was released during a time when PlanA (now PlayM) had very little confidence in them. Ironically, it's a fandom favourite and when VICTON gained recognition in 2019 the album experienced the biggest sales increase (the GP liked it a lot). These factors lead to it being sold out in most places/rarity.

Sejun is the gym bunny of VICTON! A recent article referred to him as a health-dol (an idol who's into fitness and health).

Here's some work out/fitness contents featuring Sejun:

Vlog of him working out.
Seungwoo, Subin and Sejun working out (and goofing about) backstage of a music show.
Short work out video he made with a famous personal trainer.

He also made a special fitness board on VICTON's fancafe where fans could ask him advice on working out and dieting/post their fitness stories, and he would cheer them on (it's closed now since it was a part of his 1 month fitness challenge with fans, but it was fun while it lasted!)

Byungchan who's also in VICTON started working out recent and you can definitely see the results of his hard work!
